WBJEE 2026 Application Form

Candidates must read the given instructions carefully before filling the WBJEE Application Form 2026:

• Registration for WBJEE 2026 exam will begin in the fourth week of January 2026.
• Applicants will be able to access the WBJEE 2026 application form via online mode only.
• Candidates should complete the application form with details such as name, father’s/ mother’s name, qualifications and other personal details.
• Candidates must upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature as per the given instructions.
• Candidates will be able to correct errors in their application form during the designated correction period.
• Candidates must submit the form before the second week of February 2026.
• A print copy of application must be preserved by candidates for future use in the admission process.

Application Fee:

• Application Processing Fee will be remitted via online mode only.
• Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI/ QR Code will be the online payment options.
• Under any circumstances, registration fee will be non-refundable.

WBJEE 2026 Application Correction

Candidates are informed to preview their filled in details in the application form before final submission. Corrections will not be allowed for primary registration data such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s name, domicile and Date of birth.

Candidates will be able to correct other information in their application by logging in during the specified correction period. The facility of WBJEE Application correction 2026 will be available in second week of February 2026 for a few days only. The board will not accept any correction requests after last date of correction.

WBJEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Students should meet the given eligibility criteria before applying for WBJEE 2026 exam:

General Eligibility:

• Nationality: Applicants must be an Indian national or OCI to apply.
• Age Limit: Lower age of applicants must be 17 years as on 31st December 2026. There will be no upper age limit except marine engineering courses, which is 25 years.
• Appearing: Students appearing for the qualifying examination in the year of admission will also be eligible.

For Engineering & Technology Courses:

• Qualification: Students must pass class 12th or equivalent from any Central Government board or any recognized board.
• Marks: In the qualifying examination, applicants must score a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC category).
• Subject: Applicants should qualify 12th class with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with any of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science etc.

For Pharmacy Courses:                      

• Qualification: Applying candidates should have passed 12th level exam from a board recognized by Central/ State Government.
• Marks: Applicants will require to obtain 45% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category) to apply.
• Subject: It will be mandatory to pass qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology subjects to be eligible to apply.

For Architecture Courses:

• Qualification: Students must have completed class 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board.
• Marks: Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in their qualifying examination.
• Subject: Applicants must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam.
• Scores: Candidates must hold valid scores in NATA exam to apply.

• Go through the WBJEEB website (link will be provided above).
• Then, click on the “New Candidate Registration” tab from homepage.
• Read the given instructions carefully and click on the “I agree” option.
• Input your personal details like Name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Date of Birth, Gender, mobile number, email ID etc.
• Create your own password, enter a security pin and click on “Submit” button.
• Review the details and make necessary changes, if required and click on “Verify & Final Submit”.
• Once verified, candidates must note down the generated application number.
• Now, tap on “Fill Application Form” button and input required details like qualification, contact and exam center details.
• Candidates must click on “Save & Next” option after each step.
• In the next step, upload their Photograph and Signature in the given format and click on “Save Finally & Next” button.
• Preview the filled in details carefully, proceed to make payment of processing fee by clicking on “Online Payment” button.
• Select the payment mode and pay the requisite amount to confirm their application.
• At last, candidates must retain a print out of their application form for future references.
