WBJEE 2026 Application Form

Here we have provided the complete details related to the WBJEE 2026 application form below:

  • WBJEE 2026 registration will start from the fourth week of December 2025.
  • Candidates will be able to fill the WBJEE 2026 application from through online mode, no other method will be provided.
  • A valid mobile number and a unique email ID will be required to register for the exam.
  • Fill the application form with details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, qualification, date of birth, etc.
  • In case of any mistake in the form, candidates will be able to make corrections in the form during the correction window.
  • Upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature as per the given instructions after filling the details in the form.
  • It will be mandatory for the candidates to submit the form before the last date i.e before the 2nd week of February 2026.
  • Recheck the submitted details in the form and submit the application form.
  • Do not forget to take a hardcopy of it for further usage in admission procedure.

Application Fee:

  • Facility such as Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card and UPI will be available to submit the fee.
  • Candidates will have to submit the WBJEE 2026 fee using online mode.
  • Once submitted fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

How to Apply for WBJEE 2026

Check the given step-by-step procedure below to apply for the exam:

  • Step-1: Go to the website of WBJEEB (Link will be given above).
  • Step-2: Press the available link “WBJEE 2026 Registration” on the homepage.
  • Step-3: Start with the registration by entering the mobile number and Email ID.
  • Step-4: Fill the application form with details such as personal, academic, contact details, etc.
  • Step-5: Upload the scanned documents such as photograph and signature in specific format in the form.
  • Step-6: Now submit the fee through online mode using UPI, credit card, debit card, and net banking.
  • Step-7: Recheck the filled details in the form and submit it.
  • Step-8: Take a hardcopy of the form and keep it safe till the completion of admission.

WBJEE 2026 Application Correction

WBJEEB will start the WBJEE 2026 application form correction facility through online mode. It will be started from the second week of February 2026. This edit facility will be provided for two to three days only.

In case of any mistake in the form whiling filling the form, candidates can edit the information in the form during edit facility. There will be particular section which will be edited by the candidates. Candidate are advised to make their correction done during the correction period, as after closing the window no one will be able to make correction.

WBJEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To know the complete WBJEE 2026 eligibility criteria, check out the given section:

General Eligibility:

  • Nationality: Applying candidates must be Indian citizen or OCI to be eligible for exam.
  • Age Limit: Candidates age must be 17 years as on 31st December 2025 for Engineering & Technology. There will be no upper age limit for the candidates to apply.
  • The upper age limit must be 25 years to get admission in Marine Engineering course.

For Engineering & Technology Courses:

  • Qualification: Those passed candidates in class 12th or equivalent from any Central Government board or any recognized board will be eligible to apply.
  • Marks: Candidates must score at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates) to appear.
  • Subject: To apply for the exam, candidates must pass with Physics and Mathematics as a mandatory subject with any of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science, etc.

For Pharmacy Courses:                      

  • Qualification: From any recognized board, candidates must pass class 12th level to apply.
  • Marks: Candidates must score at least 45% marks for general and 40% marks for reserved category candidates.
  • Subject: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as a mandatory subject to apply.

For Architecture Courses:

  • Qualification: To apply, candidates must pass class 12th or intermediate or equivalent from any recognised board.
  • Subject: Candidates must pass with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in the qualifying exam.
  • Marks: In individual subject, candidates must score at least 50% marks.
  • Scores: Those applying candidates must have a valid score of NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).

WBJEE 2026 Exam Pattern

WBJEE 2026 Admit Card

WBJEE 2026 admit card will be released in the third week of April 2026. Candidates will be able to access the admit card through online mode. Candidates will be required to use their login credentials such as login ID and Password to download the admit card.

Details such as name, registration number, signature, parents name, photograph, exam date and time, venue, address, etc will be there in the admit card. Candidates are advised to keep the hardcopy of the admit card safe, as it will be needed to carry at the exam center. It will be most important documents to carry on the day of exam along with the valid photo ID proof.

WBJEE 2026 Answer Key

WBJEE 2026 answer key will be released in the first week of May 2026 through online mode. Those appeared candidates in the WBJEE exam will be able to access the answer key. WBJEEB will provide the WBJEE 2026 answer key on the website after conducting the examination. With the help of it, candidates will be able to predict their estimated scores in the exam.

The authority will also provide the facility to challenge the answer key. To raise objection against the answer key, candidates will be required to submit Rs. 500 as a processing fee. The final answer key of WBJEE exam will also be published by the authority after analysing all the raised objections.

WBJEE 2026 Result

WBJEEB will release the WBJEE 2026 result on the website. WBJEE 2026 result will be declared in the fourth week of May 2026 through online mode. To access the result, candidates will be required to logging using the given credentials such as application number and password.

On the basis of the final answer key, result will be prepared by the authority. It will consist with the scores obtained by the candidates in the exam. Those qualified candidates in the exam will have to participate in the WBJEE 2026 counselling procedure.

WBJEE 2026 Cut Off

WBJEE 2026 cut off will be the minimum rank to offer admission in the participating institutes. WBJEEB will publish the WBJEE 2026 cut off on the website through online mode. It will be release in the form of opening and closing ranks with each round of seat allotment.

Those candidates whose rank is more than the WBJEE closing rank will be admitted to the participating institutions. Cut off will be vary as per the different institutes, courses, and the category of candidates. The authority will consider various factors to determine the cutoff such as number of applicants, difficulty level of exam, number of seats, previous year cut off trends, etc.

WBJEE 2026 Counselling

WBJEE 2026 counselling will begin after the declaration of the result through online mode. There will be multiple rounds in counselling process depending on the availability of seats after each round.

There will be various parts includes in counselling such as registration, choice filling & Locking, seat allotment, and acceptance of seats. WBJEEB will provide the course wise and institute wise availability of seats. After releasing the allotment of seats, candidates will be required to pay for seat allotment and report to the institutes.
