WBJEE Correction Window 2026

The board will provide the WBJEE 2026 correction facility for those candidates who have made mistakes in the application form. It will be the only one time opportunity for candidates to make corrections. After the correction period, no correction will be permitted.

During the correction period, candidates will be able to make corrections in the application form using edit mode. The correction will be allowed only in some particular fields. The fields that will not be corrected in the application form as mentioned below:

• Name
• Father’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• Date of Birth, etc.

WBJEE 2026 Application Form 

The WBJEE 2026 application form will be released in the third week of December 2025. It can be filled out and submitted through online mode. Candidates will have to submit final application form before the last date of submission. Once the application form submission widow is closed no requests will be accepted by the authority.

The application fee will be Rs. 500/- (400/- for reserved candidates) which will be paid through online modes. Candidates will have to upload the scanned copy of photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression as per the prescribed format. There will be no need to send the printout of the application form to the board.

Candidates are advised to fill application form very carefully as wrong or invalid details will lead to rejection of admission and application form. However, candidates will have a correction facility but it will be applicable to specific parts of application form.

How to Edit WBJEE 2026 Application

Candidates will be able to go through the steps given below to make correction in the application form:

• Firstly, visit the website (link will be given above).
• The candidate’s sign in page will be opened on the screen.
• Enter application number, password and security code.
• Click on the “Sign In” button.
• Now, choose the “Edit” mode.
• Make the necessary correction/editing in the application form.
• After making the correction, save it.
• Candidates must take a printout of the corrected application form for further use.

Correction in Images

The board also provides the facility to make corrections in uploaded images. The correction will be done through online mode only. Candidates will receive any SMS or Email regarding discrepancy in the uploaded images.

Candidates will have to make corrections immediately within one day. The images should be uploaded as per the specifications given in the information bulletin. Candidates will be able to check the specifications for images from below:
