Chandigarh University Eligibility Criteria 2026

Before registering for Engineering or management course (B.Tech, MBA), must check full eligibility:

For B.Tech Course:

• Candidates passed with 10+2 from any recognised board or university can apply. Appearing candidates can also apply.
• Students with 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST category) in 12th can apply.
• In 12th level, students with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects among Chemistry/ Computer science/ Biotechnology/ Biology are eligible.

For MBA Course:

• Students with UG degree from any recognised university/ institute are eligible. Graduates in their last year/ appearing students are eligible.
• Students in UG should have minimum of 50% marks to be eligible.

Chandigarh University 2026 Admission Procedure 

There will be various stages in Chandigarh University 2026 admission procedure such as registration, appearing for exam, securing qualifying marks, participate in counselling process, etc. Before applying candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. 

After successful registration, candidates will have to appear for the entrance exam to secure qualifying marks. Those candidates who will secure the qualifying exam in examination will be eligible for further admission procedure. 

Chandigarh University 2026 Entrance Exam 

Chandigarh University conducts its own entrance exam called CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Exam). It is conducted for admission into various UG & PG level courses. Exam is conducted every year at university level in two phases – CUCET-I & CUCET-II. 

Exam will be conducted through online mode. There will be 3 sections in exam which have to be solved by the candidates in 1 hour and 45 minutes. There will be Multiple choice Questions (MCQs) asked in entrance exam. 

Chandigarh University 2026 Result/ Merit List

Chandigarh University 2026 Result will be released via online mode. It will be released separately for both the phases on the website of Chandigarh university. To access the result, candidates will have to use their login credentials such as roll number and date of birth. 

University will also release the merit list of shortlisted candidates along with the result. On the basis of merit list, university will also invite the qualified candidates for further counselling procedure. 

Chandigarh University 2026 Cut Off

After the declaration of results, Chandigarh University 2026 cut off will be released via online mode. It is the minimum marks range set by the university to provide admission.
