Admission into various UG courses like BCA, BBA, B.Sc, BA, etc. is offered via SET scores. For Engineering admission, SITEEE (SIT Engineering Entrance exam) is conducted. SET/ SITEEE 2026 is a common mandatory entrance exam for Symbiosis UG admissions 2026. This computer based test is organised every year across various cities of India.

SET 2026 Application Form

Application Fees:

• SET/ SITEEE 2026 Entrance test registration fee is Rs.2250/- per test.
• In addition, students have to pay additional fee of Rs.1000/- (non-refundable/ non-transferable) for every programme they wish to apply for.

How to fill SET 2026 form

• Visit the online website (Link will be given above).
• Click on the option provided as ‘Register.’
• Now go through all instructions provided and then click on ‘Continue’ button.
• Fill the application form by providing all the details displayed on the page.
• Click on ‘Save and Continue.’ An OTP is then sent to mobile number and email provided by applicant.
• Enter OTP and submit, then you will get email and SMS containing your SET/ SITEEE Id and Password.
• Next pay SET/ SITEEE entrance test registration fee via payment modes provided.
• Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photograph as per the specification/ format.
• Go through complete details and submit the application form.
• Do not forget to take print out of the application form for any references in future.

SET 2026 Eligibility

BBA Programme:

• Qualifying level: Candidate must have passed 10+2 level or equivalent exam from any recognised board or University.
• Qualifying Marks: In 12th level, student should have passed with minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ ST).
• Those who wish to opt for Honours with Research must earn a 7.5 CGPA and above at the end of the semester 6. The eligibility for multiple entries would be as per University’s Lateral Entry Rules for FYUG programmes.
• Selection procedure: Scores of SET is mandatory for UG admissions in Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

B.Tech Programme:

• Qualifying level: Candidate must have passed 10+2 level or equivalent exam from any recognised board or University.
• Qualifying Subjects: In 12th level, student should have passed with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory along with with one of Chemistry/ Electronics/ CS/ IT/ Biology/ IP/ Biotechnology/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Technical vocational subject/ Entrepreneurship/ business studies.
• Qualifying Marks: In 12th level, student should have passed with minimum of 45% marks or its equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ ST) OR
  
• Passed D.Voc stream in same or allied sector.

SET Exam Pattern 2026

• Exam Mode: SET /SLAT /SITEEE 2026 exam will be held in Online (CBT) mode. 
• Duration: A total of 60 minutes will be given to solve the exam. 
• Type of Questions: Multiple choice Question (MCQs) will be present in the question paper. 
• Marking Scheme: For each correct response, 1 mark will be awarded in the SLAT/ SET exam and 2 marks will be in SITEEE.

SET Exam 2026 Syllabus

University releases the Symbiosis SET 2026 syllabus through online mode. The syllabus includes various subjects. The syllabus of each subject will be different. It includes topics related to General awareness, General english, analytical and logical reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. 

For the SLAT exam, the syllabus includes various topics related to Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge. To prepare  for SITEEE, candidates will have to prepare from class 12th level physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects.

SET Admit Card 2026

Symbiosis SET 2026 admit card will be released through online mode. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket for test 1 on 24th April 2026 & on 30th April 2026 for Test II. Details such as name, roll number, exam center, timing, reporting time, exam name, etc. will be mentioned in the admit card. Candidates are suggested to keep the hardcopy of admit card safe for the day of exam. 

A hardcopy of Symbiosis SET 2026 admit card along with original Photo Identify proof will be required to carry to the test centre. Candidates can carry photo identification proof of any one of the following such as Passport/ Driving License/ Voter ID Card/ PAN Card/ Aadhar Card/ College ID Card, etc.

SET Answer Key 2026

After completing the entrance exam, candidates will be able to view the answer key through online mode. University will not release any official Symbiosis SET 2026 answer key on the website. 

Other institutions will release the answer key on their respective website. With the help of the answer key, candidates will be able to calculate their estimated scores in the exam.

SET Result 2026

Result for Symbiosis SET 2026 will be announced on 20th May 2026. Candidates appearing in the exam will be eligible to view the result through online mode. To access the result, candidates will have to visit the website & provide their login credentials such as application number & date of birth. 

Those qualified candidates in the SET exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling session. University will invite those qualified candidates for further admission process. Candidates are suggested to keep the hardcopy result safe for further reference.

Symbiosis SET 2026 Scorecard/ Merit List

Candidates will be able to access the Symbiosis SET 2026 merit list through online mode. Those candidates who have successfully completed the SET exam will be eligible for merit list generation. After announcing the result, applicants will be able to view the merit list on the website. 

Based on the exam, selection of institutions, cut off marks obtained, performance of candidates in PI round, etc, merit list will be prepared by the university. The name of those candidates will be present in the final merit list & also will be eligible to participate for further admission rounds.

SET 2026 Cut Off

University will prepare a separate Symbiosis SET 2026 cut off for different category candidates. It will be released through online mode on the authority’s website. It refers to minimum marks or rank required by the candidates to be eligible for admission procedure.

Symbiosis SET Reservation Criteria

Symbiosis Admission 2026

Admission procedure of Symbiosis SET 2026 will be organised to select the qualified candidates for admission. After the declaration of result, counselling will be held through online mode. Based on the final merit list, performance of candidates in SET exam & fulfilment of other criteria prescribed by the university, admission will be provided. 

Schedule regarding admission procedure will be intimated by the university through email or call on the candidate’s registered number & email ID. There will be various rounds in the admission process including filling of application form, appearing for the SET exam, booking slots and appearing for the Online PI round. 

For admission to UG courses, candidates must appear for online PI rounds. During admission, document verification will also take place. Final admission into respective courses will be given to the candidates only after payment of admission fee & verification of original documents.
