Required Documents for IGNOU 2026 Registration:

• Scanned Photograph of candidate (under 100 KB)
• Scanned signature of candidate (under 100 KB)
• Scanned copy of relevant educational qualifications (under 200 KB)
• scanned copy of experience certificate (under 200 KB)
• scanned copy of category certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates (under 200 KB), etc. 

Application Fee: 

• Application fee of IGNOU depends as per the course candidates applied. 
• Rs. 1000/- is the application fee for B.Ed for every candidate. 
• Application fee can be submitted using online mode, no offline method is available. 
• Online facility such as credit card, debit card or net banking are available. 
• Once paid, the application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

For B.Ed Programme: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have Bachelors degree and/ or Masters degree or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised board or university. 
• Marks: One must score at least 50% marks either in Bachelors degree and/ or Masters degree in relevant subjects/ specialisation. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology in relevant specialisation with 55% marks can apply. 
• Qualifying subjects: To be eligible, candidates must have a relevant UG/PG degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Commerce/ Humanities. Candidates in Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in mathematics and science. 
• Applicants eligible to be applicants of B.Ed (ODL) – (a) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education (b) candidates completed a NCTE recognised teacher education course via face-to-face mode.  

For MBA (ODL) Programme: 

• Qualifying Degree: Applying candidates must have passed Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years from a recognised board or university. 
• Marks: In qualifying degree, candidates must have scored at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved category candidates).

• Press the “Apply Now” button on the homepage. 
• Select the course you want to apply to. 
• Now register yourself using basic details in designated fields. 
• User ID & Password will be allotted to candidates after registration. 
• Login using allotted details & fill the application form. 
• Fill the form with details such as academic qualification, communication, and personal details accurately. 
• Upload the scanned documents such as photograph & signature in prescribed format. 
• Submit the prescribed amount of application fee as per the course you applied for. 
• Select the payment option & submit the prescribed amount of fee.
