IGNOU Exam Dates 2026

IGNOU conducts various entrance exams to get admission into different courses such as IGNOU OPENMAT Exam (Management Programme), B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam, B.Ed. Entrance Exam, M.Ed. Entrance Exam, etc.

Pre and Post Exam Schedule

IGNOU Application Form 2026 for B.Ed. (January session) has been released. Candidates can submit the B.Ed application form till 27th February 2026.

For MBA & various other UG / PG courses (ODL and Online courses) application form can be filled till 15th February 2026. The IGNOU B.Ed 2026 exam will be conducted in March 2026.

The admit card for B.Ed entrance exam for January session will be made available in second week of March 2026. Candidates can download their admit card via online mode only.

For July session admissions, the dates will be announced in May 2025. The merit list will be announced in September/ October 2026.

• For PDL/ Online/ MBA courses, the application form has been made available through online mode.

• Complete registration process include various steps – Registration, filling details in the form, uploading of images of documents and making application fee payment.
• There will be no need to send any application form to exam conducting authority via post or courier.

• The Application fee for B.Ed. course is Rs. 1000/-.
• Mode of Payment:The payment of application fee can be made by online mode only through credit card/debit card/net-banking.
• Application fee is non-refundable in any case.

Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates are advised to check eligibility norms before filling its application form as application form will be accepted only of eligible candidates. Therefore, eligibility requirement for different courses will be different.

To be eligible for MBA programme, candidates must qualify graduation with 50% marks (SC/ ST category candidates must score atleast of 45% marks). Students must have obtained merit scores in qualifying exam to be eligible for admission.
