- PIET 2026 Application Form has been released for various courses.
- Candidates can submit the registration form via online mode only.
- Before filing the form, candidates have to fulfil the complete eligibility criteria once.
- During form filling, one has to start with the registration process by submitting the basic & communication details.
- After registration, fill the form with educational details, personal, address, communication, etc.
- Upload the scanned documents such as photograph & signature in prescribed format.
- The deadline to submit the PIET 2026 application form will be till June 2026.
- After submitting the form, do not forget to take a hardcopy of registration form for further usage in admission.
Application Fee:
- PIET 2026 fee can be submitted through online and offline mode.
- Fee can be submitted through HDFC fee portal/ debit card/ credit card/ net banking, etc.
- Offline payment can be done through DD in favour of ‘Panipat Institute of Engineering & Technology’ payable at Panipat/ Samalkha.
- Once paid, application fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
PIET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
One can check the complete eligibility norms of PIET 2026 below:
B.Tech Course:
- Qualification: Applying candidates must pass class 12th level or equivalent exam from a recognized board to be eligible.
- Marks: In qualifying exam, one must have scored at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates).
- Subject: To be eligible, candidates must have Physics & Mathematics as a mandatory subject with any one from Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Practice subjects.
- Scores: One must have a valid rank in JEE Main exam to be eligible.
MCA Course:
- Qualification: Applying candidates must have qualified BCA/ Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or equivalent degree from any equivalent exam. OR
- One who passed in B.Sc/ BCom/ BA with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level can also apply.
- Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must have 50% marks (47.50 marks for SC/ST) candidates.
For MBA Course:
- Qualification: Candidates must be graduated or post graduate in any stream to be eligible.
- Marks: In qualifying degree, candidates must score 50% marks (47.50 marks for SC/ST category candidates).
- Scores: Admission to MBA programme is based on the Composite Score of CMAT/ MAT.
PIET 2026 Admission Procedure
In the PIET Panipat admission procedure, there will be various steps in it. Admission process for B.Tech/ B.Tech (LEET)/ Bachelor in Pharmacy/ Diploma in ME/ Diploma in ME (LEET)/ Diploma in Pharmacy courses. There will be three ways for admission procedure:
- Admission through Haryana State Tech. Education Society, Panchkula
- Admission on the basis of Inter-se-merit as per the provision of Kurukshetra University
- Admission under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme/ PIO/ FN
PIET 2026 Entrance Exam (PAT)
PIET also conducts its own entrance exam to offer scholarships to the candidates. The PIET Admission Test (PAT) is a scholarship examination that provides candidates with the opportunity to earn maximum scholarship based on their performance in the test, followed by an interview conducted by PIET. Basic concepts for B.Tech (All Branches)/ B.Tech (LEET) will be physics, chemistry & Mathematics up to class 12th.
It is a great opportunity for candidates excelling in academics, sports or extracurricular to secure scholarships. A candidate can receive up to 100% TFW by appearing in the PAT exam. PIET is offering both offline and online mode i.e Online Remotely Proctored Exam & Test Centre-Based Exam (PIET).
NOTE: A candidate opting for the scholarship option under PAT will not be eligible for any other scholarship option provided by PIET.
PIET 2026 Merit List
PIET 2026 merit list is released through online mode. Candidates can check or view their names in the merit list on the website. Those candidates who clears the exam can participate in the admission procedure.
Those candidates who applied for PIET 2026 will be able to check their names and rank in the merit list. Candidates are suggested to keep the hardcopy of results safe for further usage in admission.
PIET Cut Off 2026
Candidates can view the PIET 2026 cut off through online mode. It consist of the minimum passing marks which candidates have to achieve in order to get selected for admission in PIET.
The authority releases the cut off marks after the declaration of result on the website. The authority considers the number of candidates applying, availability of seats, reservation of seats, number of candidates shortlisted, etc.
PIET 2026 Reservation Policy
Candidates can check the PIET 2026 reservation policy below. The admissions of BBA/ BCA/ B.Voc (BFSI)/ MBA/ MCA is provided through Institute level manual counselling, on the basis of merit of qualifying examination before the final cut-off date of admissions as per the following state reservation policy .

PIET 2026 Counselling
Counselling procedure of PIET 2026 is organized for all shortlisted candidates. It will be organised in the month of July/ August 2026. Admission to B.Tech/ B.E is given through three online off campus counselling procedures.
Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in entrance exam, counselling procedure is organised. 1st & 2nd Counselling, admission for B.E/ B.Tech (including candidates under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme/ EWS will be made on the basis of the inter-se-merit of JEE Main through online off campus counselling by NIC at website).
Participating in 3rd online counselling for leftover/ vacant seats, the candidates have to register online on the website. First preference is given to those candidates who have appeared with their JEE Main and thereafter the preference is given to the candidates based on merit of qualifying exam.
The admission of MBA/ MCA/ BBA/ BCA/B.Voc (BFSI) is provided through institute level manual counselling, on the basis of merit of qualifying exam. During counselling, candidates are also required to bring some original documents for verification procedure.
