Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar is the conducting authority which conducts OUAT exam to offer admission into its Agricultural programmes. Through the OUAT exam, candidates will get a pathway to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees in the fields of Agriculture, Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering & Fishery Science.

OUAT 2026 Application Form 

Candidates can go through the complete OUAT application form 2026 details:

• OUAT 2026 application form has been released on 17th April 2026 for various UG courses. 
• For PG courses, application form will be released soon in May 2026. 
• Candidates can submit the application form through online mode, no offline mode is available. 
• Before applying, candidates are advisable to review the eligibility criteria once. 
• During form filling, enter the details such as personal, academic qualifications, communication details & other details. 
• During registration, candidates have to select three preferred cities. 
• Upload the necessary documents such as photograph & signature in prescribed format. 
• Candidates must be careful while filling the form, as there will be no correction facility provided after submission. 
• OUAT registration 2026 last date will be 20th May 2026 for UG courses & till June 2026 for PG courses. 
• Submit the form & do not forget to take a hardcopy of application form further usage in admission. 

Application Fee:

• Rs. 2000/- is the application fee to apply for OUAT exam form 2026. 
• There is only an online facility available to submit the registration form. 
• Online mode such as internet banking/ debit card/ credit card & UPI can be used. 
• Fee, once paid, cannot be refunded under any circumstances. 

Documents Required for OUAT 2026 Application: 

• Class 10th and 12th marksheet and certificate
• Graduation marksheet
• Multiple passport size photograph
• Signature
• Migration certificate
• Caste certificate
• Domicile certificate etc.

OUAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

Before applying for exam, candidates must go through the OUAT eligibility 2026 below: 

For UG courses (B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture/ Forestry/Horticulture: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board. 
• Marks: Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks for general (40% marks for reserved category candidate). 
• Age Limit: To apply, candidates minimum age must be 17 years as on 31st December 2026. 
• Subjects: Candidates must have passed class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/ Biology as mandatory subjects.  
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in the qualifying exam will also be eligible for admission. 

For B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering): 

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 12th or its equivalent exam from any recognized board to apply. 
• Subject: In qualifying exam, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects to apply. 
• Age Limit: To apply, candidates must have attained an age of 17 years as on 31st December 2026 to be eligible. 
• Marks: Candidates must score at least 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) to apply. 

For PG (M.Sc (Agriculture)/ M.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) courses):

• Qualification: Candidates with bachelor degree in relevant fields from any recognized university by the State/ Central government will be eligible to apply. 
• Marks: In qualifying exams, candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks (50% marks for reserved category candidates).

How to Apply for OUAT 2026 

Step-by-step procedure to apply for OUAT 2026 is mentioned below: 

• Visit the website of OUAT (Link is given above). 
• On the homepage, press the “Student login” button. 
• Initially, start with the registration procedure by entering the basic information. 
• Enter the received OTP for verification procedure. 
• Now login using allotted details to fill the application form. 
• Fill the form with details such as personal, academic qualification, communication & other related information. 
• After form filling, upload the scanned documents in prescribed format & size. 
• Documents must be uploaded under 200 KB in JPG/ JPEG format only. 
• Recheck the details once & proceed to submit the fee. 
• Submit the prescribed amount of application fee as per your category. 
• Press the “Submit” button. 
• A confirmation page will appear on the screen. 
• Do not forget to take a hardcopy of application form for further usage in admission.
