AU-PGAT (Allahabad University Post-Graduate Entrance Test) is conducted twice in every year i.e PGAT I & PGAT II. Through the PGAT exam, candidates can get admission into various postgraduate programs. For admission to UG courses, admission will be provided based on a valid CUET UG score.

Candidates are advised to make corrections before the deadline, as there will be no further extension made in the edit window. The correction facility will be open for minor corrections i.e father’s name, mother’s name, gender, domicile state, mobile number, date of birth, etc. 

Allahabad University 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for admission.
• Qualifications: Candidates must be required to qualify class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in the qualifying exam in 2025 are also eligible to apply for admission. 

For BA LLB Courses: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates should have passed class 10+2 exam from a recognized board to apply. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates need to score 45% marks in case of general & 42% marks for OBC & 40% marks for SC/ST category candidates.

For M.Tech Courses: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized board to apply. 
• Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates) to apply. 
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in final year of graduation are also be eligible to apply. 

For MBA Courses: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/ institute to apply. 
• Appearing: Those candidates appearing for graduation are also eligible to apply for admission.
