Diploma in Engineering/ Technology/ Vocational courses: 

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th or equivalent exam held by BSE, Odisha. 
• Age Limit: Applying candidates lower age limit must be 14 years as on 1st July 2026 with no upper age limit. 

Lateral Entry Engineering & Technology: 

• Qualification: To apply, candidates must have passed class 12th level or equivalent from any recognized board. 
• Subjects: In qualifying exam, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) to apply. 
• Age: Applying candidates must have reached a minimum age of 16 years to be eligible for admission.

• On the homepage, press the “Odisha DET 2026 Registration” tab. 
• Start with the registration by pressing the “Candidate Registration” option & enter the required details such as  name, email, DOB, gender, etc. 
• Now validate the details by entering the received OTP on the registered phone number & email ID. 
• Click on the “Submit” button. 
• Login using allotted details to fill the application form. 
• Fill the form with details such as personal, academic qualifications, communication, & other relevant details. 
• Choose domicile option as belonging to S,Z, L & select category and sub category. 
• After form filling, upload the scanned documents such as photograph, signature & other required documents in prescribed format & size. 
• Upload the photograph within 20-100 KB size and signature within 10-50 KB size in JPG/ JPEG format only. 
• Recheck the details & confirm the details. 
• Now the user will be redirected to the “Fee Payment” screen. 
• Submit the fee as per your category using the available payment option. 
• Press the “Submit” button to complete the payment. 
• Thus a success message is generated on successfully paying the requisite amount with payment information. 
• Then you will be redirected to the Print CAF screen where the complete application form can be downloaded. 
• Do not forget to take a hardcopy of the application form for further references in admission.
