BITSAT entrance exam is the exam for admission into integrated first-year degree programme of BITS, Pilani. Candidates will also get admission to its affiliated campuses like Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. The admissions will be provided in the B.Tech, B.Pharma, and M.Sc courses.

BITSAT Eligibility 2026

It is necessary to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria given for the BITSAT entrance exam. Candidates are advised to read complete eligibility criteria and then proceed to fill BITSAT application form.

If any candidate is found to be ineligible for the examination at a later stage their candidature will be cancelled. Below we have mentioned the complete eligibility criteria.

For B.Pharma:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed the intermediate or equivalent examination from the Central Board/State Board/any equivalent board.
• Appearing Candidates: Candidates who passed their examination or appeared in 10+2 exams in 2025 are also eligible to apply.
• Minimum Marks: It is must obtain 75% marks in the PCB & PCM group. 60% marks in each subject is necessary.
• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are the mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam. Proficiency in English will be necessary for all candidates.
• Candidates with PCM group will be also eligible to apply.

For all courses except B.Pharma:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates should pass the 12th class from a recognized Central Board or State Board.
• Minimum Marks: The candidate should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects (if a candidate has taken Mathematics in BITSAT).
• A minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects (if a candidate has taken Biology in BITSAT) in the qualifying exam.
• 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects are necessary to score.
• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics are the necessary subjects. Proficiency in English is mandatory for everyone.

Direct Admission:

• First rank students from all central and state boards in the year 2026, will be given direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2026 score.

Other Conditions

• If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent, only his/her latest performance will be considered.
• Candidates who have passed 12th examination in 2024 or earlier will be not eligible to apply for BITSAT 2026.
• Candidates presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses will be not eligible to appear in BITSAT 2026.
• The eligibility for admission will be subject to fulfilling the required minimum marks in 10+2 examination.
• Direct admission will be given to students who have obtained first rank in their respective board exams.
• Candidates can appear in BITSAT exam for a maximum of two times.

• Only Students who are appearing for the 12th examination in 2026 or who have passed the 12th Examination in 2025 are eligible to appear.

BITSAT 2026 Application

Candidates should know about details regarding the BITSAT registration process before applying:

• BITSAT 2026 application forms for sessions 1 and 2 has been released.
• Mode to apply for BITSAT is only online, candidates are not able to apply offline.
• BITSAT 2026 session 1 application has been released from 15th December 2025 and session 2 from 20th April 2026.
• Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are eligible to apply.
• BITSAT application process include self-registration> formfilling> document submission> fees submission>final submit.
• While applying candidates are required to attach scanned photographs and a signature.
• Last day to submit BITSAT session 1 form will be till 16th March 2026 and session 2 from 20th April to 2nd May 2026.
• Candidates are advised to not submit multiple applications.
• No applications will be accepted once after registration window closes.
