The Union Public Service Commission has released the NDA 1 2026 notification on 10th December 2025, along with the NDA 2026 application form. The complete details regarding the eligibility, including age limit, date of birth criteria, and other requirements, for UPSC NDA 2026 have also been announced through the official notification.
Can Students Born in 2007, 2008, 2009, or 2010 Apply for NDA 2026?
For NDA eligibility, your exact age, like 15, 16.5, or 17, doesn’t matter. What truly matters is whether your date of birth falls within the official NDA DOB criteria announced by UPSC.
To be eligible for NDA 1 2026, your date of birth must fall between 2 July 2007 and 1 July 2010. This means if you were born on 2 July 2007, 1 July 2010, or on any date in between, you are eligible to apply.
To be eligible for NDA 2 2026, your date of birth must fall between 2nd January 2008 and 1 January 2011. This means if you were born on 2nd January 2008 and 1 January 2011, or on any date in between, you are eligible to apply.

Both male and female aspirants can apply for NDA 2026, provided they are unmarried. Candidates who have passed 12th with any stream can apply for ARMY, and those who have PCM can apply for ARMY/Officer/Navy.
The UPSC NDA 2026 session exams will be held on (NDA 1) 12th April 2026 and (NDA 2) 13th September 2026 in offline pen-and-paper mode. All candidates are advised to intensify their NDA preparation, as only a few months remain.
