Can Students Born in 2007, 2008, 2009, or 2010 Apply for NDA 2026?
For NDA eligibility, your exact age, like 15, 16.5, or 17, doesn’t matter. What truly matters is whether your date of birth falls within the official NDA DOB criteria announced by UPSC.
To be eligible for NDA 1 2026, your date of birth must fall between 2 July 2007 and 1 July 2010. This means if you were born on 2 July 2007, 1 July 2010, or on any date in between, you are eligible to apply.
To be eligible for NDA 2 2026, your date of birth must fall between 2nd January 2008 and 1 January 2011. This means if you were born on 2nd January 2008 and 1 January 2011, or on any date in between, you are eligible to apply.

All male and female aspirants can apply for NDA 2026, but they need to be unmarried. Candidates who have passed 12th with any stream can apply for ARMY, and those who have PCM can apply for ARMY/Officer/Navy.
The UPSC NDA 2026 session exams will be held on (NDA 1) 12th April 2026 and (NDA 2) 13th September 2026 in offline pen-and-paper mode. All the candidates are advised to boost their NDA preparation as only a few months are left.
