DNB – Post Diploma Counselling 2026

The DNB PDCET 2026 counselling is held through online mode. After the release of result, the counselling procedure & schedule has been published. Candidates first have to register on the website for participating in the counselling.

The counselling procedure is regulated for exam-qualified candidates only. DNB PDCET Counselling procedure is conducted in various rounds based on the availability of seats after each round of counselling. The seats are allotted to the candidates based on their performance in the entrance examination.

DNB PDCET 2026 Counselling Schedule

The counselling schedule 2026 is available through online mode. The first round of counselling will start on 2nd July 2026.

Also, filling options and choices submission for second round will start from 23rd May 2025. Seat Allotment will be released after each round of counselling.

DNB PDCET Counselling Procedure 2026

Students can know the detailed DNB PDCET Counselling Procedure 2026 from below section:

Registration:

To be eligible for participation in counselling, applicants should  register themselves via online mode on the website. The registration process involve payment of registration fee and filling in their choices & preferences for seats.

DNB PDCET 2026 Counselling Registration and choice filling for round 1 is scheduled 2nd- 6th July 2026. Registration is a one-time process at the start of the counselling, and no fresh registrations will be allowed after the closure of registration window.

Fee Payment and Document Upload:

Students must deposit a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 2500/- with additional payment gateway charges, during the online registration process for counselling. While registration, students will also be required to upload their necessary documents such as:

  • MBBS Degree certificate
  • PG Diploma pass certificate
  • Permanent Registration certificate issued by State Medical Council/ MCI
  • Class 10th mark sheet for DOB proof
  • Category certificate
  • Valid Government issued Identity proof with Photograph etc.

Choice Filling and Confirmation:

At the time of registration process, students are required to fill in their preferred choices of seats. Candidates must confirm/ lock their choice preferences before the deadline, as changes are not allowed after locking.

It is crucial to carefully review and confirm selections within the given timeframe to avoid errors and ensure desired seat allocation.

Seat Allocation:

Upon successful registration, the allocation of seats are determined based on the candidate’s merit and their preferred choices, as indicated during the registration and choice-filling process.

Acceptance and Freezing of Seat:

To secure an allotted seat, candidates have to accept and freeze it by paying the non-refundable requisite admission fee within the stipulated timeframe.

After successful payment, the seats are confirmed for the candidate and the candidate will not be eligible for further counselling rounds.

Downloading Seat Allotment Letter and Joining the Institute:

Applicants opting to freeze their seat and pay the requisite fee should download their seat allotment letter from the website. After downloading the seat allotment letter, candidates will be required to join the allotted institute within the stipulated time, as per the counselling schedule published by the authority.

Aspirants who fail to pay the requisite fee within stipulated time will lose the seat allotted to them, however, they will remain eligible to participate in the further rounds of counselling.
