JCECE BoardThe JCECE (Jharkhand Common Entrance Competitive Exam) is a state level examination managed by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. It is organized to screen candidates for admissions in the first year of degree level professional courses in the field of agriculture, forestry and medical (BHMS). For admission into BE/B.Tech courses, the JCECE Board will be organizing JEECE 2017 examination. JCECE 2017 Application Form

The JCECE & JEECE 2017 Application Form will be available only through online process. The application form will be released from 3rd April 2017 and will be available till 24th April 2017 (for JEECE), for JCECE application can be filled upto 30th April 2017. The fee payment will be done via both offline and online modes. In online mode payment can be made through debit/credit card and through bank challan (offline mode). Only one application will be accepted for one candidate. After form submission, any changes will not be entertained. There is no need to send the application form to the board.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for JCECE 2017 are mentioned below:

Residential Eligibility:

  • Candidate should be a citizen of India and local or permanent residence of Jharkhand state.
  • Candidates will be required to produce the local or permanent residence certificate at the time of counselling.

Age Limit:

  • There is no age limit for B.Tech & BHMS courses.
  • For MBBS & BDS courses, applicants should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Qualification Eligibility:

  • Engineering Courses: aspirants must have passed intermediate or equivalent exam with physics & mathematics as compulsory subjects along with chemistry with securing minimum 45% marks for general candidates and 40% marks for reserved categories.
  • MBBS/BDS Courses: candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with chemistry, physics, biology/bio-technology and english subjects and securing minimum 50% marks in PCB group for general candidates and 40% marks for reserved categories.

Physical Eligibility:

For admissions candidates are required to go through the medical checkup round. Only fit candidates will be considered for admission.

JCECE Exam Pattern

JCECE exam pattern 2017 is mentioned below:

  • Type of Question: The JCECE 2017 exam will contain objective type questions.
  • Question Paper Language: The language medium will be both English as well as Hindi.
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will carry one mark.
  • Negative Marking: For each wrong answer, ¼ mark will be deducted from the total score. Negative marking will not be considered for no response. Negative marking will be done for multiple answers.

JCECE Syllabus

To score well in the examinations, candidates should always prepare according to the officially prescribed syllabus. The JCECE Syllabus will be notified by JCECE board when the official notification will be released. The syllabus will consist of physics, chemistry, biology, biotechnology subjects. The syllabus will be of 10+2 standard.

FAQ’s (Most Asked Questions)

Answer: The online application will be released from 3rd April 2017.
Answer: For OBC/General candidates the application fee is Rs. 1000, for SC/ST/PH candidates the application fee is Rs. 550.
Answer: For JCECE 2017, question will be based on 10+2 level syllabus approved by Jharkhand academic council and C.B.S.E in examination. There will be 50 objective type questions carrying equally one mark in each section. There will be three sections such as Biology (50 marks), Physics & Chemistry (each 50 marks), and Mathematics (50 marks).

JCECE 2017 Admit Card

The JCECE 2017 Admit Card will be available to download from the last week of May 2017. Candidates can download the admit card through the official website of the board. If the candidate does not produce the admit card at the examination center, the candidate will not be permitted to examination hall under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to keep safe the admit card it will be needed to produce at the time of document verification.

JCECE 2017 Result

The board will release the JCECE 2017 Result on 29th May 2017 and JEECE 2017 Result will be declared on 22nd May 2017. Candidates can check their result through the official website of the board. There is no provision of re-evaluation/re-checking of the answer sheets. Candidates can download the JCECE 2017 Rank Card via online mode. Candidates are advised to preserve the result till the admission process is completed.

JCECE 2018

JCECE 2018 (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) is a state level entrance exam. This exam is conducted  for admission to the admission in first year of B.E./B.Tech, Agriculture, Forestry, B.V.Sc. and A.H., Homeopathy Degree courses. Candidates will be able to fill the application from the 3rd week of April 2018.

JCECE 2017 Counselling

A combined merit list will be prepared subject group wise on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the exam. Admissions will be strictly based on the merit list. Document verification will be done at the time of counselling/ admission. If the candidates fail to produce the original documents at the time of JCECE counselling 2017, the candidate will not be considered for admission. Candidates will be called for counselling process as per their obtained rank. Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. Candidates are required to pay counselling fee of Rs. 300 for general candidates and Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates to participate in the counselling process.
