JCECE 2026 Result
The result of JCECE 2026 will be released a few days after the commencement of examination. The authority will publish results through online mode at the website. Students are needed to enter their roll number to view the results.

JCECE 2026 Merit List
The merit list of JCECE 2026 will be released through online mode. The authority will publish the combined merit list for all the offered courses as well as category-wise. The seats will be allotted to the applicants on the basis of merit-cum choice to the respective trade.
The merit list will be prepared based on the marks of candidate in the entrance exam. Applicants securing higher marks will be placed at the top of list. Students will be called for a Counselling procedure as per their rank obtained in the exam.
JCECE 2026 Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case two or more candidates score the same marks in the JCECE entrance exam then inter-se-merit is prepared by authority. In such cases, authority will follow the given tie-breaking criteria:
B.V.Sc. and A.H. and B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) Stream.
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology in the exam will get higher rank.
- Students obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the exam will be prioritized.
- If ties still exist, applicants older in age will be considered.
- If tie still persists, as per English alphabetical order of candidate’s first name.
B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) and B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) Stream.
- Students who scored higher marks in Mathematics in the exam will be prioritized.
- Candidates who obtained higher marks in Physics in the exam will be considered.
- If ties still exist, candidates older in age will be considered.
- If a tie still persists, per English alphabetical order of candidate’s first name will be considered.
JCECE 2026 Cut-Off
The cut-off of JCECE 2026 will be published through online mode. It is a minimum score that must be obtained by a candidate to qualify entrance exam. Candidates scoring more cut-off marks will be given a higher rank for getting admission into the colleges of their preference.
The JCECE 2026 cut-off marks will be published in the form of opening and closing ranks. The cut-off may vary with category of candidates, courses, and institutes they opt for.
JCECE 2026 Counselling
The JCECE Counselling 2026 will be conducted through online mode by the board. Candidates will be able to visit the board website to get any kind of information. On the basis of the merit list, applicants are called for Counselling process. If candidates have any query related to Counselling then they may inform the authority.
The Counselling procedure is conducted in two rounds:
1st round of Counselling: After publication of result, qualified candidates are called for Counselling as per their merit rank. Students can get information regarding date, time, place and mode of Counselling is given via newspapers of Jharkhand as well as the Board website.
2nd week of Counselling: The second round will be held if seats remain vacant after admission during the first round of Counselling. In this Counselling, students who have been admitted through the 1st round of Counselling may also participate to change their course or institute.
