JKCET 2023 Answer Key
JKCET 2023 Answer Key will be released by online mode on the website of the Jammu and Kashmir Board. After a week of completion of the JKCET entrance exam, the candidates will be able to download the JKCET answer key.
The candidates have to visit the website of the board to download the JKCET answer key. Students have to use their login credentials generated at the time of registration to download the answer key.
In case candidates have any doubt regarding JKCET answer key they can send a written appeal to the authorities. The candidates will have to send the written appeal along with documentary proof along with a payment of challenge to JKCET and a challenge fee.
JKCET 2023 Result
The candidates can check the details about JKCET 2023 result by online mode. The board has release merit list on the website on 25th July 2023. The candidates who want to download the JKCET result have to use their registration number and date of birth.
The authority does not provide any hard copy of the result to the candidates by offline or any other mode. So candidates must take copies of the downloaded JKCET result online and keep them safe for future reference.
JKCET 2023 Merit List
The JKCET 2023 Merit List is prepared by the authority based on the performance of the candidates in the exam. The merit list contain the name of the nominated candidates who have secured higher ranks in the entrance exam.
The candidates get shortlisted by the authority to provide admission in different courses offered in different colleges located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is released by online mode on the website of the university.

JKCET 2023 Counseling
The shortlisted candidates get a call for the JKCET counseling process on the basis of the merit list. The counseling schedule has been released by online mode on the website. Candidates can get the counseling letter by online mode through the website of JKCET/ JKBOPEE only.
Selected candidates are required to carry the original certificate and the counselling fee of Rs 1500/-. Such candidates who participates for the first time shall be required to submit Rs. 1000/-.
Candidates have to choose the colleges as well as the course/ program as per their preferences/ choices.
For the document verification rounds, candidates must additionally provide the following documents:

JKCET 2023 Admit Card
The candidates will be able to get JKCET 2023 Admit Card for the entrance exam by online mode. The candidates who have completed the application process and have submitted the application fee successfully will be eligible to download the admit card from the website.
The admit card is an important document for the candidates that must be kept safe as it contains all the important details such as applicants name, roll number, photograph, signature, and some exam instructions, exam date, exam time, exam venue, and many more. So, candidates are instructed to keep the admit card securely along with them.
JKCET 2023 Application Form
Following are the complete details with instructions regarding the JKCET 2023 Application Form:
- The application form for JKCET 2023 has been released through online mode only.
- The application form has been provided from 4th till 30th April 2023.
- While filling in the correct details, candidates must upload the scanned images of signature, photo, and thumb impression in the given format such as JPG/ JPEG only.
- The registration process for JKCET 2023 is re-started from 27th May till 6th June 2023.
- The size of the photo, thumb impression, marks certificate & category certificate must be as per the specifications only.
- While making registration, candidates must ensure he/ she fulfils complete eligibility norms.
- Fill complete details carefully in the application as no correction window will open for modifications.
- Once the form is completely filled, take a printout of it for future reference.
Application Fee:
- JKCET 2023 Application fee is Rs 1200/-.
- Application fees can be submitted through online mode.
- Candidates can use a credit card, debit card, and Net Banking payment gateways for the transaction of application fee.
- In any case, fee is non-refundable.
JKCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Check below details about JKCET Eligibility 2023:
- Nationality: Candidates must be citizen of India.
- Age Limit: The minimum age of the candidate must be 17 years as of 31st December 2023 to be eligible for admission.
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized educational board.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have acquired at least 45% marks to be eligible for the JKCET examination.
- Subjects: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English subjects in the qualifying examination.
- Appearing: Candidates who will be appearing in the 12th or equivalent exam in 2023 can also apply for admission.
JKCET 2023 Exam Pattern
The authority releases the details of JKCET exam pattern in the brochure. Candidates can know various details about the exam in the below given section:
- Mode of Examination: The exam will be held in offline (pen and paper) mode.
- Medium of Language: The language of the paper will be English.
- Time Duration: 3 hours will be given to the candidates to solve the paper.
- Type of Questions: Questions in the paper will be Multiple choice type (MCQs).
- Number of Questions: There will be 180 questions in the paper.
- Distribution of Questions (Section wise): There will be 60 questions in Physics section; 60 questions in Chemistry and 60 questions in Mathematics subject.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct response, +1 mark will be awarded. -0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
