Lucknow University Counselling 2023

The Lucknow University Counselling 2023 is conducted for the shortlisted candidates in the entrance examination. The counselling is conducted in three phases in different dates for various UG & PG courses. It is mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling process.

The candidates are allowed to provide their choice for institute and course specialization at the time of counselling and their documents will also be verified. Following are the complete details regarding the Lucknow University Application Form 2023:

• The Application Form has been released from 28th March till 4th July 2023 for UG courses.
• The Lucknow University Application Form 2023 has been made available through online mode.
• The application form for PG courses has been released from 11th April till 17th July 2023.
• Candidates have to fill the details on application form about name, gender, date of birth, category, qualification etc. 
• Candidates also need to upload the scanned copies of their photograph and signature.

• Step-3: Provide the received OTP on the registered mobile number.

Lucknow University Eligibility Criteria 2023

Following are the complete eligibility criteria for Lucknow University 2023. 

For Undergraduate Course:

LLB:

• Qualification: Candidate must pass 12th class or equivalent exam from any stream.
• Marks: The minimum marks candidate must obtain will be 45% for general category.
• Relaxation: The OBC category candidates will have to score minimum 42% and for SC/ST it will be 40%. 

B.Com:

• Qualification: Candidate must have pass Intermediate to be eligible for exam.
• Subjects: Candidate must choose subjects like Commerce, economics or mathematics as one of the subject.
• Percentage: The minimum marks candidate must score for general and OBC will be 40% and for SC/ ST must score 33% marks.

BCA:

• Qualification: The candidate must pass 12th class from recognized board.
• Subject: Candidate must pass with subjects like Mathematics, Information technology, Computer Application as one of the subjects.
• Marks: Candidate must score at least 50% for General and OBC and for SC/ST score at least 45%.

Note: If there is gap in taking admission after 10+2 exam, then an affidavit (certified by the Notary on Rs. 10.00 stamp paper) has to be submitted at the time of admission.

For Post Graduate Course:

For MBA Course:

• Qualification: Candidate must have Bachelor degree or equivalent from recognized university or institute.
• Marks: Candidate must score at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate for SC/ ST candidates.
• Appearing: Candidate who are appearing for qualifying examination in current year must be eligible for exam.

For M.Sc. course:

• Qualification: Candidate must have B.Sc. degree from recognized university.
• Marks: Candidate must score at least 45% for General/ OBC and 40% for SC/ ST.
• Subject: Candidates with Anthropology, Zoology, Botany, Geology or Environmental science in final year.

Lucknow University Exam Pattern 2023

For UG Admission:

• Total Questions: There will be 100 questions in the exam. 
• Type of Questions: The Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the examination. 
• Duration: The time duration will be 90 minutes to solve the paper. 
• Marking Scheme: +2 marks will be given for each correct answer.

For PG Admission:

• Total Questions: There are total 100 questions in the paper.
• Type of questions: The question paper contains objective type questions.
• Number of Sections: There will be three sections in the paper except for LLB (3 years).
• Duration: The time duration of the exam will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes to solve the exam. 
• Marking Scheme: +5 marks will be given for every correct answer.
