CBSE has declared through instructions given in Admit Card that what to wear and what to bring in exam hall. Information given in admit card is authentic and must be followed by all candidates. However, information mentioned in this article is only the support to candidates, so that they would not face any problem.

NEET 2018 Dress Code

Candidates have to follow the dress code while appearing for NEET exam, the dress code rules are given below:

  • Candidates have to wear light half sleeves clothes not having big buttons, brooch/badge, flower etc. with Salwar/Trouser.
  • Candidates have to wear Slippers, sandals with low heels, not shoes.

Note: If the candidate is wearing the customary dress, then they need to report at the allotted examination centre latest by 8.30 AM on the day of examination.

For Male Candidate:

Wear light color clothes like Jeans, Pant, Shirt (half sleeves only). The button of shirt should be medium size not big enough. The Kurta Payjama not allowed, Shoes are also not allowed. Wear only sleepers or sandals.

For Female Candidate:

Light clothes with half sleeves not having big buttons, brooch/badge, flower etc. with Salwar/ Trouser, Slippers, sandals with low heels are allowed. Shoes for the female candidate are also not allowed.

Barred Items For NEET 2018

Candidates are informed that barred items are not allowed in the examination hall, this includes:

  • Any stationery item like textual material  (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic, Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser,  Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanners etc.
  • Any communication device like mobile phones, Bluetooth, earphone, Microphone, pager, health band, etc.
  • Other barred items include wallet, googles, handbags, hair pin, hair band, belt, cap, scarf, charm/tabeez etc.
  • Any metallic item.
  • Any Watch/Wrist Watch, Bracelet, or camera.
  • Any other item that can be used for unfair means.
  • Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle etc.

Candidates must note that No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any articles/items belonging to the candidates. In case any candidate is found in possession of any of the barred items inside the centre, it will be considered as use of unfair means and action will be taken against the candidate in accordance with the relevant provisions.

    I am studying in rajasthan.and m actually from bihar. Is it mandatory to opt exam centre from bihar ..can’t I give exam in rajasthan..
