OUAT is an entrance exam which is conducted for the UG courses. Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology organises this university level entrance exam which provides various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses in the field of Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Horticulture, etc.

This examination is conducted once in a year by the authority. OUAT qualified candidates will get admission in the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology and its affiliated institutions. • OUAT 2024 Application Form for UG courses has been released from 1st March 2024.
• For PG courses, the application form will be released in the first week of May 2024.
• The registration form has been made available through online mode.
• Candidates must checkout the eligibility criteria of OUAT 2024 before registration.
• Fill the application  form with all the asked details such as personal details, communicational details, etc.
• Candidates must upload the scanned images of photograph and signature within the specific size and format.
• Applicants are advised to fill the valid and complete information in the application form to avoid rejection.
• The correction facility may or may not be provided by the authority, so recheck the details before submission.
• The last date of submitting the application form for UG courses is till 15th April 2024.
• For PG courses, candidates must fill the application form till the first week of June 2024.
• Keep a printed/ hard copy of the application form for references in future.

• Class 10th and 12th marksheet and certificate
• Graduation marksheet
• Multiple passport size photographs (200 kb, jpg/jpeg format)
• Signature (200 kb, jpg/jpeg format)
• Migration certificate
• Caste certificate
• Domicile certificate, etc.

Application Fee:

• The application fee can be submitted via online mode.
• Candidates can pay fee through Debit card, Credit card or Net banking.
• Applicants need to pay an application fee Rs. 1500/- for both UG & PG courses. 
• The university does not refund the registration fee under any circumstances.

OUAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must check out the OUAT 2024 eligibility criteria mentioned below:

For BSc.(Hons) Agriculture:

• Qualification: Candidates should have passed class 10+2 examination from any recognised board.
• Marks: Students must obtain a minimum 50% marks in 10+2 level ( 40% for reserved category).
• Subjects: Candidates in 12th level must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology as mandatory subjects.
• Age limit: Applicants minimum age must be 17 years by 31.12.2024.
• Appearing: Appearing candidates will also be eligible to apply.

B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering):

• Qualification: Candidates should have completed 12th (Intermediate) or its equivalent from any recognised board.
• Subjects: He/ She must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects to be eligible.
• Marks: Applicants will need to obtain at least 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category).

M.Sc. (Agriculture):

• Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field from any recognised university by the Central/ State government.
• Marks: Students must obtain minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination (50% marks for reserved category).

M.Tech (Agriculture Engineering):

• Qualification: Applicants should have Bachelor’s degree in relevant field from any recognised university by the Central/ State government.
• Marks: Candidates must score minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination (50% marks for reserved category).

How to Apply for OUAT 2024

Following are the complete steps described to apply for OUAT 2024:

• Visit the OUAT website (link is given above).
• Go to the admission section and click on “Student login”.
• Login by providing a mobile number and email ID.
• An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number/ email and captcha code. 
• After login, click on the “Apply” button.
• Fill the application form by entering particulars such as personal details, academic details, etc.
• Upload the scanned image of photographs and signature within the prescribed format/ size.
• Preview the entered details in the application form and proceed to pay the application fee.
• Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• Download the confirmation page from the website.
• Take a print out of the confirmation page for future reference.
