PGIMER 2025 Exam will be conducted in the first week of November 2025. It is a national level admission procedure organised by AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Science). PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research) is a well known institute situated in Chandigarh. Admission will be offered through INI CET and INI SS exam. These examinations are conducted to provide admission into MD/ MS (6 year course) and DM/ M.Ch and MDS (3 year course). Applicants must go through the following information related to PGIMER application form 2025:

• The PGIMER 2025 application form will be released through online mode. 
• The registration will be started in the third week of September 2024 for INI CET.
• Candidates must fulfill eligibility criteria before filling the application form.
• Enter the details carefully such as personal, educational, category details etc.
• Authority will also provide the correction facility to modify the application form.
• The last date to fill the application form will be till third week of October 2024 for INI CET.
• Students must not forget to take a print out of the application form.

Application Fee:

• Candidates will be able to submit the application fee through online mode.
• The mode of payment to submit the fee will be debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
• Application fee will be non- refundable under any circumstances.
• For INI SS, all category candidates will need to pay Rs. 4000/-. Only PWBD candidates will be exempted.

How to Apply for PGIMER 2025

Follow the given steps to apply for PGIMER 2025:

• Step 1: Visit the PGIMER website (link will be available above).
• Step 2: Do registration and enter the basic details such as name, email ID, date of birth etc.
• Step 3: An OTP will be sent to the registered contact details.
• Step 4: Fill the application form with the required details i.e. communicational, personal details etc.
• Step 5: Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in a specific format.
• Step 6: Preview the application form and submit the application fee as per category.
• Step 7: After that confirmation page will be displayed on the screen.
• Step 8: Take a printout of application form for further usage.

PGIMER 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria of PGIMER 2025 before applying for exam:

For INI CET:

• Qualification: Candidates must possess an MBBS degree for MD/ MS/ DM- 6 years or BDS degree for MDS courses.
• Marks: Applicants belonging to OBC/ EWS category will require 55% marks in aggregate and candidates belonging to ST/ SC category will require 50% marks in aggregate.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in final examination in 2025 will also be eligible to apply.

For INI SS:

• Qualification: Students must possess a MBBS or an equivalent degree.
• Marks: Candidates belonging to UR/ OBC/ EWS/ Sponsored must obtain 55% marks in aggregate in all MBBS professional examination. Applicants belonging to SC/ ST need to obtain 50% marks in aggregate in their qualifying exam.
• Appearing: Applicants appearing in final examination will be able to apply for exam.
• Experience: To be eligible, candidates should have an experience of three years in a Govt. Hospital in the relevant field or five years in general practice. 

PGIMER 2025 Exam Pattern

• Exam mode: Exam will be held through online mode only.
• Exam duration: Candidates will get 90 minutes for INI SS and 180 minutes for INI CET.
• Language: Only English language will be applicable in exam.
• Number of questions: There will be 80 questions in INI SS and 200 questions in INI CET. 
• Total marks: The exam will be of 80 marks.
• Type of questions: Objective type questions will be there in exam.
• Marking Scheme: One mark will be provided for each right answer.
• Negative Marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

PGIMER 2025 Admit Card

The PGIMER admit card 2025 will be made available in the fourth week of October 2025 for INI CET. Candidates will be able to download their admit card through login in using registration ID, password and exam unique code. Candidates will be required to download their admit card within a given time period. 

The admit card will be issued to applicants who have completed all the stages of application form. Candidates are advised to check their admit card carefully, in case of any discrepancy candidates must bring it to the notice of examination section, AIIMS, New Delhi.

PGIMER 2025 Answer Key

The PGIMER answer key 2025 will be published after few days the conduct of exam. Candidates will need to use their login credentials to view the answer key. Students will be able to estimate their probable scores with the help of answer key. It will be made available in PDF format.

Also candidates will get a rough idea about their results. If students found any mistake in the answer key, they will have an opportunity to raise objections against it. The authority will verify the objection and release the final answer key.  Also, download the answer key & keep it safe for other usage.

PGIMER 2025 Result

The PGIMER result 2025 will be announced through online mode. It will be released separately for INI CET and INI SS for both sessions. For INI SS, the result will be made available on 30th October 2024 for INI SS & on 16th November 2024 for INI CET (January session). To download the result, aspirants will need to use their login credentials. 

The authority will not provide results to the candidates individually, they have to check it from the website. Applicants must keep their result safe until the admission procedure gets over. As it will be required at the time of counselling. 

PGIMER 2025 Cut Off

The PGIMER cut off 2025 will be released after a few days the declaration of result. It will be a minimum marks that should be obtained by the candidates in PGIMER exam. On the basis of cut off list the authority will prepare a merit list. Students will get admission on the basis of the marks scored by them in entrance exam.

PGIMER 2025 Counselling

The PGIMER counselling 2025 will be organized in June/ July 2025 for the INI CET exam. For MD/ MS (6 year course), it will be held in four rounds. Candidates whose names will appear in merit list will be able to participate in counselling process. Seats will be allotted to students as per their rank obtained in exam. 

If candidates will not get seats in first round, then they have to appear in second or third round counselling. During counseling, candidates will need to pay a fee and verify the documents.
