UPES (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies) is a private university established in 2003 & located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. UPES conducts various university level entrance exam such as UPESEAT, UPESMET, UPESPAT, UPESDAT, etc to offer admission into various courses.

Admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate & doctoral courses in the field of Engineering, Design, Law, Management, etc will be provided to the eligible students. UPESEAT (UPES Engineering Aptitude Test) is conducted to provide admission into B.Tech courses. 

Admission to MBA courses will be provided through UPESMET (UPES MBA Entrance exam). As per NIRF 2025 Rankings, UPES has been ranked 45th in the University Category, with a rank of 18th in law, 36th in management, 43rd in engineering and 45th in research and ranked in Band 11-50 in Innovation. Candidates can also get admission through national-level exam scores such as CUET, JEE, CAT & other exams.

UPES 2026 Application Form

Here we have provided the complete UPES 2026 registration form details below: 

• UPES 2026 application form has been commenced by the UPES, Dehradun for various UG & PG level courses. 
• Candidates can apply for admission through online mode, no other offline option is available. 
• During form filling, candidates need to enter the details such as email ID, phone number, academic qualification & other asked information. 
• After registration, upload the scanned documents such as photograph & signature in prescribed format and size. 
• UPES, Dehradun will also provide the facility to make corrections in form after submission, in case of any error in the form. 
• Recheck submitted details & do not forget to take a hardcopy of the registration form. 

Application Fee:

• Rs. 1750/- is the registration fee for UPES 2026 for each candidate. 
• There will be an online facility available to submit the UPES application fee. 
• Candidates can submit the fee through credit card, debit card, UPI, internet banking, and other payment methods. 
• Once submitted, the application fee cannot be refunded. 

Documents Required:

UPES 2026 Application Correction 

UPES 2026 application correction facility may or may not be provided through online mode. UPES will open the correction window for two to three days only. So candidates are suggested to be careful while filling the application form. 

Moreover, those candidates who are applying through CUET will be able to make some changes to their CUET registration form. Applying candidates will have to login to their account to edit the form.

UPES 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

Complete UPES 2026 eligibility criteria is mentioned below for various courses: 

For B.Tech Course: 

• Education Qualification: To be eligible, candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board or institution. 
• Subjects: In qualifying exam, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology to apply. 
• Marks: To be eligible, applicants must score a minimum 50% aggregate marks. Moreover, 50% in PCM subjects. 
• Board Marks: Those students who will take admission based on board merit only must have a minimum of 80% marks in class 10th & 12th to apply. 
• SAT/ CUET: To be eligible for admission, students must have valid CUET/ SAT scores. 
• JEE/ UPESEAT: Applying candidates with valid scores in UPESEAT/ JEE main will be eligible for admission. In JEE Mains, at least 50 percentile is required. 

For MBA Course: 

• Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any recognized university/ institute to apply. 
• Marks: In class 10th, 12th & Graduation level, candidates must score at least 50% marks to be eligible. 
• Entrance Exam: Applying candidates with valid scores in UPESMET/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT will also be considered for admission.

How to Fill UPES 2026 Registration Form

• Press the “Apply Now” button on the homepage. 
• Register yourself by entering the basic information such as email ID, phone number & other details. 
• Fill the application form with details such as personal, education qualification, communication, etc. 
• After form filling, upload the scanned documents such as photograph & signature in prescribed format. 
• Documents such as photographs must be uploaded between 20-50 KB & signature between 10-25 KB in JPG/ JPEG format. 
• After uploading the documents, submit the application fee by selecting the payment mode. 
• Recheck the details and press the “Submit” button on the webpage. 
• A confirmation page will appear on the screen after submission of form.
