UPES 2026 Counselling
UPES university organises the counselling procedure through both online & offline mode. It is a centralised counselling procedure for admission in various disciplines of B.Tech. programmes. Those applicants who will successfully clear the entrance exam are allowed to participate in counselling procedures.
The university invites eligible candidates for counselling on the basis of UPES 2026 cut off and merit list. It is organised separately by the university for JEE Main score holders and UPESEAT qualifiers.
It is necessary for every qualified candidate to participate in the counselling process , as all seats are allotted through counselling only. To complete the admission, students should report the allotted counselling centre along with their original documents for verification.

UPES 2026 Counselling Procedure
It is a centralised counselling procedure for admission to various courses offered at UPES university campuses located in Bidholi and Kandoli. UPES counselling procedure includes registration, entrance test, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, fee payment etc.
It will be organised for allotting seats to eligible candidates based on their scores in board exam or JEE Main exam. The seats reserved for admission will be JEE Main rankers (10% seats), Board Merit holders (10% seats) and UPESEAT merit holders (80% seats).
Aspirants must achieve the merit rank to be shortlisted for counselling, as the seats are allotted on the basis of the merit list. Applicants may have to go through Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, to be shortlisted for some courses at university.
The university releases the seat allotment based on which selected candidates will be provided a counselling call letter. Students must download the call letter and report the allotted campus with their necessary documents for verification.

UPES Cut Off 2026 is released by the authority via online mode, a few days after the result declaration. It will be a range of minimum scores which applicants will be required to meet in order to get admission.

UPES 2026 Seat Allotment & Admission
After the release of result/ merit list, the university releases the seat allotment for all the successfully registered candidates. It consist of the names of qualified candidates who are allotted seats in UPES university. Students can check the UPES seat allotment through online mode from the website.
The seats are allotted to the participating applicants on the basis of their filled preferences and ranks. Seat allotted candidates receive a counselling call letter which they have to produce during the counselling session along with other required documents for verification.
