NDA 2026 Exam Update: The Union Public Service Commission has started the registration process for NDA 2026 via online mode.

The NDA application window opened on 10 December 2025 with the release of the official notification. Candidates can now fill out the Common Application Form through the UPSC online portal.

Live Photo Capture Mandatory During CAF Submission

This year, UPSC has added a verification step. Candidates must upload a recent photograph and also capture a live photograph while filling out the Common Application Form. Both images should be clear and follow the technical guidelines specified on the portal.

UPSC has advised applicants to read the instructions provided under Instructions and FAQs > Instruction for filling the form > Photos and Signature before completing the process to avoid rejection during verification.

UPSC NDA 1 2026 Registration Link 

The NDA 1 2026 written examination will be conducted on 12 April 2026 in offline mode (pen and paper). The last date to submit the application form is 30 December 2025. For the NDA 1 2026 session, there are a total of 394 vacancies.

All the candiates can apply for NDA only via online mode. No candidate is required to send their application form via post or any other medium. More than one form will not be accepted by the authority. The size and format of the required documents should be as instructed by the authority.
