Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Sonepat

Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) has been established in the year 2006, when the Legislation department of the state of Haryana has declared and upgraded the status of a college named Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, which was originally established in 1987 in Murthal. The University is approved by the UGC.

Campus:

The University campus is sited on the Delhi – Ambala National Highway-1 in Sonepat District which commonly known as the Murthal, Haryana. The University campus is 50 km away from the Delhi. The University campus is spread over 273 acres of land. The campus is well-connected to the Delhi and Chandigarh by the road and rail network.

Programmes:

The DCRUST is conducting the nine bachelor’s programmes and 17 master’s programme in various fields of the applied and professional education. Read More >>

Students, Faculty & Staff:

The DCRUST offers admission over 1224 seats as the annual intake capacity for all programmes. The University campus has around 176 faculty members and more than 83 non-teaching staff.

Facilities:

The university campus provides the facilities of shopping complex, guest house, health centre, post office, bank, library, separate hostel for boys & girls, computer centre, central workshop, central instrumentation lab, transportation and sports facility.

Activities:

The university campus organizes seminars, workshops, guest visits, technical festival and various extracurricular activities.

Placement:

The campus has a provision for 42 days mandatory training for students each after the end of 4th semester and 6th semester exams. The university has established an industry – institute interaction cell for providing the industrial visits, trainings and job placement for the students. Read More >>
