GITAM University, Hyderabad was formed in the year 1980. It is a deemed university which was set up with the goal to regulate and manage the education, research and training in the management, law and many other fields and is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). This university has various constituent colleges named Hyderabad Business School, School of Law, etc.
