Institute of Information Technology and Management, Delhi

Institute of Information Technology and Management, Delhi was established in the year 1999. The institution is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and approved by All India Council for Technical education (AICTE).

Campus

The institution is located in Janakpuri New Delhi. The campus has separate academic and student block and can be easily accessed through any means of transportation by road, rail and air.

Facilities

The institution provides all the necessary facilities to the students such as a well-established class room with head projectors and LCD facility. The institution also has a conference hall, computer lab, and seminar hall. There is also a separate well-furnished hostel for boys and girls. The hostel is well-equipped with recent amenities. The Institution has an air-conditioned digital library that consists of textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, magazines and newspapers. Besides these various recreational facilities are also provided by the institution such as cafeteria, sports facility etc.

Programmes

The institution offers undergraduate and postgraduate programme in the field of management. It offers undergraduate programme like Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and postgraduate programme like Master of Business Administration (MBA). The duration of the MBA programme is two years. After completing their first year students are required to do compulsory summer internship project.

Placement

The institution has a training and placement cell which is headed by the Training and Placement Officer. The placement cell is responsible for the following activities like maintaining regular interaction with the industry through seminars, industrial visits and guest lectures, development of personality besides team building and career counseling, assisting students in summer training and prepares placement brochures for each batch and circulating it among the prospective recruiters. The following recruiters have come for the campus placement Wipro, NIIT, Toluna and Bajaj Capital etc.
