Rayat & Bahra Institute of Engineering and Biotechnology, Mohali

Rayat & Bahra Institute of Engineering and Biotechnology, Mohali (RBIEBT) is a private aided engineering college located in Mohali district of Punjab. The college was established in the year 2005 with the objective of providing quality education to the students of Punjab. The college is one of the leading institution of engineering in the state. The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar, and approved by all India council for technical education (AICTE) New Delhi and Government of Punjab.

Campus:

The RBIEBT is located in Kharar  city of Mohali district. The college campus is located in a serene and peaceful environment, the college has good infrastructure with all major facilities. The college is well-connected by all means of transport by fast and frequent transport facility.

Programmes:

The college is offering five courses in undergraduate engineering discipline leading to the degree of B.tech with the total intake capacity of 600 students. The college is also offering three courses in postgraduate engineering discipline. The courses offered by RBIEBT are approved by AICTE and affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar.

Facilities:

The major facilities provided by RBIEBT are well equipped workshops and labs, computer centre with internet facility and well equipped hardware and software, well stocked library having huge collection of books and journals, well ventilated and spacious classrooms. The other facility provided by RBIEBT include separate hostel facility for boys and girls, sports facility, medical facility, canteen and mess facility, and transportation facility.

Placement:

The RBIEBT has fully fledged Training and Placement cell. The cell has an excellent tie up with all the reputed companies. The objective of the T&P cell is to place max. no. of students in the top companies. The college also provides industrial visits, job listings, and pre-placement talks to the final year engineering students.
