Seth Jai Parkash Mukand Lal Institute of Engineering and Technology is popularly known as the JMIT. The institution has been established in the year 1995 as a private and self-financing college set up by the Ved Parkash Mukand Lal Educational Society. The JMIT is affiliated to the Kurukshetra University and approved by the AICTE and Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.
Campus
The JMIT campus is situated in the Village Chota Bans at Post Radaur and Tehsil Jagadhari in District Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. The campus is 18 km from the Yamuna Nagar and 28 km from the Kurukshetra. The nearest railway station from the college is Jagadhri at 18 km from the campus.
Facilities
The JMIT campus provides a digital & OPAC library with DELNET facility & more than 45000 volumes of titles. The campus has 5 boys’ hostel and two girls’ hostel equip with gymnasium, mess, indoor sports, security, unbreakable water and power supply and internet facility. The campus provides the laboratories, canteen, workshop, transportation and auditorium.
