Siddhartha Law College (SLC), Dehradun

Siddhartha Law College (SLC), Dehradun was established in the year 2009. It is running under the aegis of Siddhartha Group of Institution (SGI) that is managed by the Siddhartha Educational Society. It is affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University and approved by the Bar council of India (BCI), New Delhi.

Campus

The lush green campus of Siddhartha Law College (SLC) is situated in the valley of Dhanda-Khudenawala, near IT Park, Sahastradhara road, Dehradun. The capital city of Uttarakhand i.e. Dehradun is well-linked by roads and various modes of transportation.

Facilities

The Library is well-lit, ventilated and spacious having a large number of textbooks, journals , manuals, periodicals and magazines concerning law and allied subjects. The college organizes seminars and also arranges many cultural activities. The college also maintain good hostel facility for the comfortable living of the students. The hostels are provided with mess facility. A modern canteen is functioning within the college campus serving hygienic food to the students and staff members. The fully furnished moot court of the college is well-known for conducting moot activities.

SLC is offering integrated, undergraduate, postgraduate and PG diploma courses under its institution. 1-year PG diploma programme run by the college is offered in Human Rights, Intellectual Properties Laws, Law and Medicine, etc. Most sought law courses offered by this college are as follows:

Admission

For Five Years B.A. LL.B Integrated Programme, the student should have passed at least intermediate/10+2 examination in any stream with 45% marks. For Three Years’ LL.B Programme, the student should be minimum a graduate in any stream with 45% . Interested and eligible students can fill the online application form for admission.
