St. Soldier Institute of Law, Jalandhar

St. Soldier Institute of Law, Jalandhar was founded by the St. Soldier Educational Society in the year of 2004. It is an integral part of the St. Soldier Group of Institutes. The institution was laid by Mr S.P Kurdukar, former Supreme Court Judge of India. It is affiliated to the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The institution is approved by the Bar Council of India.

Campus

The Institution is situated in Jalandhar-Amritsar Highway (NH -1), Behind NIT Jalandhar, Jalandhar, Punjab. The institution campus is spread over 200 acres of land. The campus is well-linked by road, air & railway transportation.

Facilities

The Institution has a separate hostel facility for boys and girls. There is facility of well-stocked library with a wide gathering of newspapers, reports, books, magazines, etc. Other facilities offered by the Institution such as indoor & outdoor sports, seminar halls, classrooms, computer labs, etc. There is also a moot court for students’ extracurricular activity which usually involves drafting memorials & participating in oral argument.

Programmes

St. Soldier Institute of Law, Jalandhar runs Bachelor of Arts & Law (BA LLB) & Bachelor of Law (LLB). BA LLB is 5 year duration programme & LLB is 3 year duration programme. For admission in BA LLB Course, Students have to qualify their 10+2 examination & for LLB Course, students have to pass their graduation degree with not less than 45% marks.

Admission

Students will get direct admission in BA LLB & LLB Course or they have to qualify state level entrance exam. Students have to appear for the Guru Nanak Dev University counselling for admission into law courses.
