YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad

YMCA University of Science and Technology was established as an Indo-German Project in the year 1969 named with “YMCA Institute of Engineering”, Faridabad as a joint project of the National Council of YMCAs of India, the Central Agencies for Development Aid, Germany and the Government of Haryana. In the year 2009 the UGC has upgraded the Institution to the University status to confer degrees. The YMCA University is recognized by the AICTE, Directorate of Technical Education (Haryana) and MHRD, New Delhi.

Campus:

The YMCA University campus is sited in Sector-6 at the Faridabad-Ballabgarh Industrial Complex. The campus is sited on the National Highway-2 (Mathura Road) in the Faridabad district of Haryana. The YMCA University Campus is placed in the National Capital Region and 30 km away from the New Delhi.

Programmes:

The University conducts B.Tech programme in six disciplines of engineering and post-graduate programme like M.Tech in three disciplines of engineering, MCA, MBA, M.Sc and PhD programme in various disciplines. Read More >>

Students & Faculty:

The University has more than 2400 students as institutional strength, 980 seats as the annual intake in all programmes and about 115 faculty members in all departments. About 30% of the faculty members are holding the doctoral degrees.

Facilities:

The YMCA campus provides the separate hostel for boys and girls with common room and reading room, separate laboratories and workshops for every department, seminar hall, sports facility, dispensary, bank and post office. The university campus has a day care centre for the children of teaching and non-teaching staff of the university.

Activities:

The YMCA University provides the opportunity to the sports talent and conducts the sports events, annual day, fresher party and various extracurricular activities.

Placement:
