NIMCET 2026 Application Form
Know given important details & instructions before filling out the NIMCET Application Form 2026:
- Registration will be commenced in second week of April 2026 via online mode. No offline facility will not be provided.
- Candidates must check & fulfil the complete eligibility criteria before registration.
- During the application process aspirants must register, fill the details, upload scanned documents and pay the application fee.
- Candidates must fill out the NIMCET application form with correct details including educational, personal, communicational etc.
- Aspirants will have to upload scanned images of documents i.e. photograph & signature in the specific format.
- The last date to submit application form will be in second week of May 2026.
- For the candidates who have made mistakes while filling the application, the correction window will be opened in third week of May 2026.
- Take printout of the filled application form and keep it safe for further references.
Application Fee:
- Candidates will be able to pay non-refundable fee of Rs. 2500/- (Rs. 1250/- in case of reserved category).
- Registration fee will be paid through debit card/ credit card or net banking. Payment through any offline method will not be received.
How to Apply for NIMCET 2026

- Step-1: Go to the NIMCET 2026 website (link will be provided above).
- Step-2: Click the link ‘Registration for NIMCET 2026’.
- Step-3: Now, register yourself by providing details i.e. name, date of birth, gender, mobile number & email address to get user ID & password.
- Step-4: Now continue to fill application form by providing details such as personal, educational, address etc.
- Step-5: Upload the images of passport size photograph and signature in the jpg/ jpeg format.
- Step-6: Now, click on the payment section & submit the application fee as per your category.
- Step-7: Review all the details & then click on “Final Submit” button.
- Step-8: Applicants must take printout of the registration form & keep it for future references.
NIMCET 2026 Application Correction
NIMCET Application Correction will be started in third week of May 2026. This facility will be enabled for a limited time period only. So candidates are advised to edit incorrect details before the last date. Changes through any offline or other mode will not be accepted.
Candidates will need to have login details i.e. application number & password in order to edit details. Submit the correct details in the form and take a printout safe after editing the details.
NIMCET 2026 Eligibility
Before filling the application form, candidats must make sure to fulfill these NIMCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Candidates must have Indian Nationality to be eligible for NIMCET.
- Qualification: Candidates who have Bachelor’s Degree (with Mathematics/ Statistics as on of the mandatory subjects) or B.Tech/ B.E. will be eligible for NIMCET.
- Marks Criteria: In the qualifying degree, candidates must obtain 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-Point scale (55% marks in aggregate or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-Point scale in case of SC/ST/ PwD).
- Appearing: Candidates who are appearing in their final semester/ final year will also be able to apply.
NIMCET 2026 Exam Pattern

- Mode of Exam: Examination will be conducted in online mode with single paper in three parts.
- Type of Questions: Question paper will contain of Multiple choice Questions (MCQs).
- Duration: Exam will be held in 2 hours duration in which Part I contain 70 minutes, Part II will be of 30 minutes & Part III will be given 20 minutes.
- Medium of Exam: Exam will be held in English language only.
- Total Questions: 120 questions will be asked in the NIMCET exam.
- Negative Marking: Each incorrect answer will lead 25% of negative marks.

- Algebra-Geometric and harmonic progressions, determinants and matrices, fundamental operations in algebra, simultaneous linear /quadratic equations, indices, logarithms, arithmetic, expansions, factorization.
- Probability and Statistics: Averages, Dependent and independent events, basic concepts of probability theory, frequency distributions, measures of central tendencies and dispersions.
- Vectors: Addition and subtraction of vectors, position vector, scalar and vector products and their applications.
- Trigonometry: Simple identities, solution of triangles, heights and distances, general solutions of trigonometric equations, trigonometric equations, properties of triangles.
Computer Awareness:
- Data Representation: Binary and hexadecimal representations, representation of characters, integers and fractions etc.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
NIMCET 2026 Admit Card
NIMCET Admit Card will be made available in online mode from fourth week of May 2026. Admit card will have exam related information including name of candidate, exam date, exam time & venue etc. Candidates must make sure that details printed on admit card are correct. If they found any mistake in details then immediately contact to the NIMCET authority.
Hall ticket of the exam will not be available through any offline mode. Candidates will need to present their admit card with ID proof on the day of exam.
NIMCET 2026 Answer Key
Answer key will be published in second week of June 2026. Through the NIMCET Answer Key, candidates will be able to check the correct response of the questions. Answer key with response sheet will be published via online mode. Authority will also provide objection facility against the model answer key.
To challenge the model answer key candidates will be required to enter their login details. Objection window will be opened for two to three days only. Candidates will have to pay required fee to challenge per question. Final answer key will be released after submission of the objections made by the candidates.
NIMCET 2026 Result
Candidates will be able to access their results in online mode. It will be announced in fourth week of June 2026. NIMCET result will be available in the form of score card. Candidates will need to download it using application number/ date of birth & password.
In the result, candidates will need to know scores/ ranks obtained by them in the exam. Candidates should check details carefully before downloading their score card & take printout of the same for admission references.
NIMCET 2026 Cut Off
NIMCET 2026 Cut Off will be released with or after the declaration of result. Through the cut off, candidates will be able to know closing & opening ranks. While preparing the cut off, authority will consider various factors i.e. last year trends, number of applicants applied, availability of seats etc.
Cut off will be released in fourth week of June 2026. Based on the cut off marks scored by the candidates, students will be able to participate in counselling process.

NIMCET 2026 Counselling
NIMCET Counselling will be commenced in fourth week of June 2026. Counselling will be done in various steps like online registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification & submission of admission fee. It will be organized in online mode.
Candidates will have to report to the allotted college/ institute based on the seat allotted to them. If candidates will not be able to report to the reporting centre before the last date then their seats will be cancelled & will be alloted to the next candidate.
Candidates must report to the allotted centre with necessary documents & submit the admission fee in order to confirm their seats. It will be required to the candidates to bring documents for verification purpose like graduation mark sheets, allotment letter, photographs, transfer certificate, caste certificate, income certification etc.
