How to Apply for CUET UG 2027

- Visit the CUET UG 2027 official website (Direct Link will be provided above).
- Click on ‘Online application form‘ to fill application form.
- Submit basic details and create password for generation of an application number.
- Complete application form by competing remaining steps of application form.
- Students can login with details and then proceed to fill application.
- Fill personal details, educational qualification, university/ programme selection, test paper details, choosing exam cities, educational qualifications, etc.
- Next step is uploading of images and documents.
- Upload scanned JPG/ JPEG images of candidate’s photograph, signature and disability/ UDID certificate (if required).
- Along with scanned passport size photo and signature, students have to upload his/ her live photograph.
- Students have to now pay requisite exam fees. It can be paid via online mode.
- Download, save and print a copy of confirmation page of application form.
CUET UG Correction Window 2027
The application correction window of CUET UG 2027 will open on 2nd week of February 2027. Only few editable details can be edited online on the website. The link to edit form details will be live for 2-3 days only. No corrections will be entertained sent by students via post/ whatsapp/ fax/ e-mail/ by hand.
This is one time facility which is provided for few days only. No further extensions are provided once deadline is over. Final correction will be applicable only after payment of fee.

CUET UG 2027 Eligibility

- Nationality: Applying candidate should be an Indian citizen. Foreign nationals can also apply according to the university guidelines.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit prescribed to apply for CUET UG 2027. However, students are required to fulfil age criteria of the university/ institution in which they desire to take admission.
- Qualification: Students who have passed 12th level or its equivalent OR appearing in 2027 from a recognised board.
- Minimum marks: There is no minimum marks set to apply. Student must fulfil it according to the criteria prescribed by the university they want to take admission.
- University Specific Eligibility: For selection in participating universities, students are required to choose domain specific subjects as they studied in Class 12. Also, the specific cut off percentage prescribed & other eligibility norms are to be obtained to get admission.
CUET UG Exam Pattern 2027

- Exam mode: CUET UG exam is conducted in online computer based test mode.
- Exam shifts: Multiple shifts/ slots are organised likely in the morning and evening.
- Paper Duration: Paper is of 3 hours. For each test paper, 60 minutes is provided.
- Type of Questions: Paper contains objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs).
- Sections/ Subjects Covered: There are total 37 subjects with 3 sections in each – 13 Languages, 23 Domain-specific subject and 1 general test.
- Marks: Paper will be of total 250 marks.
- Questions: There will be 50 questions in each test paper. All questions are compulsory.
- Medium language: 13 Indian languages – Bengali, Assamese, Hindi, English, Gujarati, Kannada, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Marathi, Odia, Telugu, & Urdu.
- Marking Scheme: +5 marks are provided to each correction answer. -1 negative marking is done for every wrong response.
CUET UG 2027 Syllabus
Syllabus of CUET UG 2027 is based on Class 12 NCERT curriculum. It is divided into three main sections – Language subject, Domain-specific subject and general aptitude test.
- Language: The language section is to be tested through reading comprehension (based on various types of passages – Factual, narrative and literary), vocabulary and literary aptitude.
- Domain-specific: The topics covered are as per NCERT syllabus.
- General aptitude test: Topics are current affairs, general knowledge, numerical ability, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, general mental ability, quantitative reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/ algebra/ geometry/ mensuration/ statistics), general science and environment literacy.

Exam Centres
CUET UG exam is conducted in 306 cities in India and 15 outside India. Students can select upto 4 cities maximum as per order of their preference within the states provided in present and permanent address.
NTA reserves the right to change the exam centre and city at any time, subject to availability or in extreme circumstances fall out of the options.

CUET UG City Intimation Slip 2027
NTA will release CUET UG city intimation slip 2027 in the last week of April 2027. Students will be able to download city slip online via login.
Students will be able to check allotted exam city in the exam city slip. The subject and language wise schedule is also mentioned in the issued city slip. Appearing candidates must note that it is not an admit card and serves as advance information of city where the exam centre will be provided. It is issued with the purpose of allowing students to plan accommodation, travel, and exam day logistics without any stress.
CUET UG Admit Card 2027
The admit card of CUET UG 2027 will be issued in the first week of May 2027. Candidates can download hall tickets online via entering login credentials – application number and password.
Admit card is an important document which is required to get entry into exam hall. Students must verify all the details to be true on the admit card. It is advised to carry admit card along with a valid photo id proof for verification.
CUET UG 2027 Answer Key
The provisional answer key will be released online few days after the exam in the fourth week of May 2026. Students will be able to download answer key along with response sheet. The challenge window will also open for a certain period of time. Challenge per objection will charge ₹200/-.
The authority will release revised / final answer key after reviewing the submitted objections. It can be downloaded in the PDF form online.
CUET UG 2027 Result
NTA will announce CUET UG results online in the fourth week of June 2027. It will be compiled on the basis of released final answer key on the website. No re-evaluation or rechecking of results will be entertained by the authority.
Students can download their scorecards online by entering their login credentials. The scorecard will display the details of candidate and subject code, subject name, percentile and score.
CUET UG Counselling 2027
The respective central universities and other participating universities/ institutions will release the counselling and admission schedule online on the university website. NTA is not responsible for preparing the merit list and can be separately checked on the website.
There will be no centralised system to organise counselling. Students must reach out to the university directly with their respective documents for further participation in admission or selection process.
