AP ECET 2023 Seat Allotment has been released on 31st August 2023 for Round 2. Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK). This exam is conducted for diploma holders in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and B.Sc Mathematics. AP ECET is managed on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. Here we have mentioned the official exam dates of AP ECET 2023 exam:

AP ECET 2023 Answer Key

The AP ECET Answer key has been released on 23rd June 2023 as preliminary key. The answer key contains all the correct answers to the question that are asked in the examination. It has been released via online mode

In case the candidates find any mistake in the answer key they can surely challenge it. Candidates are allowed to make objection (if any) till 25th June 2023. The final answer key has been  released along with result on 2nd July 2023.

AP ECET 2023 Result

The AP ECET Result has been published on 2nd July 2023. Candidates can check the result online by providing the registration number & D.OB online by logging into their website.

The scorecard include the name of the candidate, roll number, date of birth, gender, rank obtained total score, etc. Those candidates who have their names on the merit list will be shortlisted for AP ECET counselling rounds.

AP ECET 2023 Rank Card

The candidates have to get a minimum of 25% marks in the aggregate in 4 subjects. It means to qualify for the exam, the candidate have to score at least 50 out of 200. For the SC/ ST candidates, there are no qualifying marks.

AP ECET Rank Card has been released after the declaration of result. Candidates can download the rank card by entering the required details. The rank card contain candidate’s rank, marks scored and other exam related details.

AP ECET 2023 Cut Off

Cut off is the minimum marks candidates will have to score to participate in the counselling process. AP ECET 2023 Cut off will be released via online mode. It will be published in the month of August 2023. It can be varied every year for various courses.

AP ECET 2023 Counselling

The AP ECET Counselling procedure has been commenced from 14th July 2023. Counselling rounds are commenced by the authority through online mode.

Authority has organize the counseling procedure/ seat allotment for candidates who secured a position on the merit list. The process of counselling is followed by various rounds such as online registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting. On the basis of the candidate’s rank on the rank card, admission is offered.

AP ECET 2023 Application Form

Before filling the application, candidates must check details about AP ECET Application form 2023 from below:

• The application form has been released from 10th March 2023 through online mode.
• The candidates must fill in all the necessary details and complete the online registration.
• Uploading the category certificates, relevant mark sheet, photograph, signature, and other documents are also necessary for the application form.
• Candidates are advised to check the eligibility norms before filling the registration form.
• Candidates are allowed to make correction in the application form from 20th April 2023.
• The application form of the candidate may be rejected in case mandatory fields are blank and the form is not filled properly.
• Candidates must fill the application form before the due date i.e till 10th April 2023 without any late fee.

 Application Fee:

• The Application fee can be submitted via online mode only.
• Candidates can be pay via Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking OR AP/TS online centres.
• The application fee for OC category is Rs. 600/-, Rs.550/- for BC & Rs. 500/- for SC/ ST category candidates.
• In any case, registration fee is non-refundable.

 AP ECET Eligibility Criteria

Below we have mentioned the AP ECET 2023 eligibility criteria:

Nationality:

• The applying candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Applying candidates must belong to Andhra Pradesh state.
• The candidate must satisfy the local/ non-local status of the AP government.

Domicile:

• The candidate who resides within the state of Andhra Pradesh is eligible to apply.

Education Qualification:

• A Diploma in B.Tech/ Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh or any other with 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) is required to apply.
• The candidate must have passed 3 years of B.Sc degree or its equivalent with Mathematics as a compulsory subject from a recognized University in the state with 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category).
• Candidates who are pursuing a Diploma course will be eligible for the relevant B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Pharmacy degree.

AP ECET 2023 Hall Ticket

The AP ECET Hall Ticket has been released on 12th June 2023 through online mode. To download the admit card, candidates have to enter their login credentials. It contains the details like candidate’s name, father’s name, category, photograph, signature, date of birth, etc.

Candidates should carry their admit cards on the day of the examination as no candidates are allowed to enter the examination hall. Authority releases the admit card for every registered candidate for the examination.

AP ECET 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates can check the exam pattern of AP ECET 2023 from below:

• Mode: The test will be conducted through online mode (CBT).
• Language: The exam will be conducted in the English language only.
• Maximum marks: The paper contains 200 Objective-Type questions.
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer and there is not any negative marking on the paper.
• Duration: The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

AP ECET 2023 Syllabus

The AP ECET Syllabus is set by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. The candidate must be aware of the syllabus and exam pattern to prepare well for the entrance exam.

• The syllabus for B.Sc. (Mathematics) will be on Mathematics, Communicative English, and Analytical Ability.
• For the Engineering course, the syllabus will contain the class 11^th and 12^th PCM subjects.
• The syllabus of the pharmacy course will contain topics such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacology.

AP ECET 2023 Preparation Tips

• Practice more and solve the previous year’s question paper to get an idea regarding the entrance exam.
• Solve mock tests as much as possible to increase the accuracy and solve the speed of the paper.
