This entrance test is the gateway for admission to engineering and non-engineering diploma programmes offered by the polytechnic institutions of Delhi. CET Delhi Eligibility 2018

CET Delhi will be conducted for 5 tests. Eligibility condition for each course will be different. Students can check their eligibility for the test for which he/she is appearing. Only Indian/sponsored candidates will be eligible for admission. Aadhaar Card will be mandatory to apply for CET Delhi 2018 exam. The below table shows the qualification eligibility for each course.

Qualification Eligibility:

  • Passed 10th or matrix or any other examination recognized as equivalent examination conducted by CBSE with not less than 35% aggregate marks in Science, English and Mathematics.
  • The subjects Science, Mathematics and English are compulsory & the candidate should have passed in each of these three subjects.
  • Candidate passing the qualifying examination under grading system must have to obtain the passing grade to be eligible to apply.
Test-2Diploma Course in Modern Office Practice – English
one year certificate course in Hospitality Operations, Retail Services, Finance Executive in World Class Skill Centre (WCSC)
  • Candidate have to pass 12th in any stream from CBSE board or its equivalent.
  • The qualifying examination should be passed with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) secured in best three subjects including English.
  • For Modern Office Practice (English) and WCSC courses, English is the mandatory subject.
Test-3Diploma Course in Modern Office Practice – Hindi
  • Minimum qualification required is 10+2 passed in any stream from CBSE board or its equivalent with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for SC/ST).
  • The marks will be calculated in aggregate of best three subjects including Sanskrit/Hindi.
Test-4Diploma Course in Pharmacy

 

  • Prescribed qualification is 10+2 from CBSE or any other equivalent examination recognized by the pharmacy council of India passed with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry & either Mathematics or Biology.
  • PCM/B along with English are compulsory subjects.
  • Students passed from National Institute of Open Schooling shall not be considered for admission.
Test-5Lateral entry admission against 10% supernumerary seats in analogous diploma courses
  • Students have to pass analogous 12th Vocational (Engg) stream of CBSE or equivalent from schools located in Delhi only.
  • Minimum aggregate of 60% marks must be obtained in best five subjects.
    OR
    Passed 10th class from CBSE board and 2 years ITI (Engg.) from ITIs/ITCs situated in Delhi only. The qualifying exam should be passed with minimum 60% aggregate marks (all subjects).
