Diploma in Engineering/ Technology Courses:

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10^th level or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
• Age Limit: Age of the candidates must be at least 14 years as of 1^st July 2024. There will be no prescribed upper age limit.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2024 will be also eligible.

Lateral Entry Engineering and Technology:

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have passed the class 12^th level (Intermediate) or its equivalent exam from any recognised board.
• Age: Candidate’s age must be at least 14 years . No upper age limit prescribed for the admission.
• Subjects: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying exam.
• Percentage:One must have scored minimum 35% marks in the qualifying exam.
• Appearing: The appearing candidates in year 2024 will also be eligible to apply.

Film and TV Courses:

• Qualification: One must have qualified 12^th from any recognized board or university.
• Age: Candidates age must be between 14 to 28 years as on 1^st June 2024. 3 years relaxation will be provided for SC/ ST category candidates.
• Marks: Applying candidate must have secures atleast 35% marks in their qualifying examination.

Odisha DET 2024 Merit List/ Result

The Odisha DET 2024 merit list will be available through online mode only. The merit list will be published in second week of August 2024. After the verification of document, the authority will release merit list on the website.

On the basis of marks secured by the candidates in qualifying examination, authority will prepare a general merit list for Diploma Engineering/ Technology course. Also, separate list will be release for reservation category, LE admissions, Diploma Engineering/ Technology/ Non-Engineering.

Odisha DET 2024 Counselling

The Odisha DET 2024 counselling procedure will be organized on the basis of final merit list. Only those candidates will be called for the Odisha DET counselling whose name will present in the merit list. The counselling registration will be done through online mode only.

The complete counselling schedule will be released by the authority. There will be various rounds for counselling such as registration, choice filling, allotment of seats, and reporting. The seats will be allotted on the basis of the candidate’s ranks in the merit list.

Odisha DET 2024 Selection Procedure

The Odisha DET 2024 selection procedure will be organised by the authority. Only qualified candidates will be able to participate in the admission procedure through online mode. The selection will be done on the basis of merit list.
