Odisha DET 2024 Eligibility Criteria must be checked by the candidates. DTET organize the admission into diploma programmes in various colleges in Odisha State. Candidates who will get shortlisted in the merit list on the basis of their marks on the basis of qualifying exam are provided admission. Odisha DET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the application form of Odisha DET 2024, candidates must make sure that they fulfill the eligibility criterion. The complete eligibility criteria for various diploma programmes will be as given below:

Diploma in Engineering/ Technology:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/ her HSC or 10^th level exam or equivalent organized by BSE.
• Qualifying Subjects: Candidate must have passed his/ her HSC or 10^th level exam with Mathematics, Science and English subjects.
• Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have passed the qualifying exam with at least of 35% marks in aggregate and 30% in each qualifying subject.
• Age Criteria: For the candidates applying for diploma engineering courses (Except Mining and Drilling), the age must not be less than 14 years. For engineering diploma programme (Mining and Drilling), the lower age will be 16 years.

Diploma in Pharmacy:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/ her 10+2 level exam or equivalent from CHSE, Odisha.
• Qualifying Subjects: Applying candidate must have passed his/ her 10+2 exam with Mathematics/ Biology, Chemistry and Physics subjects approved by PCI.
• Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have passed the qualifying exam with minimum of 35% marks aggregate and 30% in each qualifying subject.

Diploma in Film and TV Courses:

Cinematography/Sound & TV Engineering

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 exam or its equivalent from Science stream from any State Board/ CBSE/ ICSE recognized by CHSE, Odisha.
• Qualifying Marks: Applying candidate must have passed the qualifying exam with minimum of 35% marks.
• Age Criteria: Applying candidate must be between 16 to 28 years as on 1/6/2023. For ST/SC, 3 years of relaxation will be there in upper age limit.

Diploma in Engineering (Lateral Entry):

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 level from Science stream/10+2 vocational in any Eng. Trades/ 2 years ITI in Eng. Trade/ Pass in HSC exam in COE Trade conducted by BSE Odisha/10^th standard exam approved equivalent by BSE Odisha.
• Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have secured minimum of 30% marks in each subject in the qualifying exam.
• Age Criteria: Applying candidate’s age should not be less than 14 years.

Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate should be passed in 10+2 level exam or its equivalent with Arts/Science/Commerce stream from CHSE, Odisha.
• Qualifying Marks: Applying candidate must have his/her qualifying exam with minimum aggregate of 35% marks and 30% marks in each of the qualifying subject.
• Age Criteria: Candidate applying for admission should not be less than 16 years of age.

Odisha DET 2024 Application Form

The Odisha DET 2024 Application form can be filled by the candidates from 1st April 2024. Candidates can fill and submit the application form by online mode only. Last date of submitting the online form is till 30th April 2024 (1st Year) & (L.E).

The application fee to be paid during application submission is Rs. 200/- for ST/ SC/ Female candidates and Rs. 300/- for general male candidates. The fee can be paid through debit/ credit card, UPI, etc. online payment gateway. PH & transgenders are exempted to pay the fee.
