ICAR AIEEA 2024: Application, CUET Exam Dates (Out), Eligibility

ICAR AIEEA 2024 Exam Dates has been announced through CUET UG. It will be conducted through online mode. Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) is a national level entrance exam. It is conducted every year to provide admission into various UG & PG level courses. As per last year (2023), admission for AIEEA UG will be on the basis of CUET-UG scores. For AIEEA PG, separate entrance exam will be conducted. Through ICAR exam, candidates will be offered admission in Agriculture program/ courses. • The application form for ICAR AIEEA 2024 will be released via online mode.
• For CUET UG, it will be released from second week of February till first week of March 2024.
• The registration process for AIEEA PG 2024 will be available from second week of April till first week of May 2024.
• One must make sure he/ she fulfils each eligibility norms as form will be accepted only of eligible candidates.
• All communication details will be sent to candidate’s registered no. & mail ID, so make sure it is in working form.
• More than one application form will not be accepted, so one must fill only single form.
• Incomplete or incorrect details in the form will not be accepted, so candidates must fill the form carefully & completely.
• After registration process gets over, authority will also provide correction facility for limited time period
• Once form will successfully gets submitted, do not forget to take its printout of future use.

ICAR AIEEA 2024 Eligibility

Check following eligibility criteria before applying for ICAR AIEEA 2024:

Through CUET-UG: 

• Nationality: Indian national citizens will be eligible to apply.
• Qualification: One must have qualified 12th level exam from any recognized board or university.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will be also eligible to apply for the same.

For PG Courses:

• Qualifying Exam: One must have passed graduation with four/six (10+6 B.Sc. Ag.)/five years’ (B.V.Sc. & AH)/51⁄2 years (B.V.Sc. & AH) degree.
• Percentage: General, OBC, UPS & EWS categories must score minimum 60% marks. For ST/SC & PwD categories, he/ she must score 55% marks..
• Candidates must have completed B.V.Sc. & A.H. with internship before the date of admission.

ICAR AIEEA 2024 Exam Pattern

Here candidates must check following details regarding ICAR AIEEA 2024 Exam Pattern:

Through CUET UG Course:

• Exam mode: Exam will be conducted via CBT (Computer Based Test).
• Total Questions: Total of 100 questions will be asked in the question paper.
• Medium: There will be 13 languages for UG level course.
• Question Type: The Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the paper.
• Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 5 marks will be awarded.
• Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking of 1 mark.

For AIEEA PG course:

• Exam Mode: AIEEA PG 2024 exam will be held via online (Computer Based Test) mode.
• No. of Questions: There will be total of 120 questions in the paper.
• Duration: Candidates will get 2 hours to solve the paper.
• Language: Question paper will be asked in English medium language.
• Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 5 marks will be given.
• Negative marking: 1 mark will get deduct for each incorrect option.

In Section IA & IB – Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary and Narrative [Literary Aptitude & Vocabulary]

For Section II, refer NCERT books.

In Section III– General Knowledge, General Mental Ability, Current Affairs, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/stat taught till Grade 8), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.

For PG Courses:

Plant Biotechnology:

• Photosynthesis, Development, Respiration and Transpiration, Elements of Economic Botany, Proteins, Nucleic Acids, Dry Matter Partitioning, Structure and Metabolic Functions of Carbohydrates,General Structure and Function of Carbohydrates, Genetic Engineering, Harvest Index of Crops, DNA Replications, etc.

Physical Science:

• Principle of Nutrient and Water Management, Periodic Classification of Element, Fats and Liquids, Weathering of Rocks and Minerals, Structure and Function of Plant Cells, Causes of Poor Aeration, Classifications, Soil Classification, etc.

ICAR AIEEA 2024 Admit Card

The admit card for ICAR AIEEA 2024 will be released via online mode. NTA will publish e-admit card on the website. Candidates will be able to download it through login using application number & password. No individual will receive it via post or any other offline medium.

Hall Ticket will consists of all exam related details such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time, venue & exam instructions. One must strictly check the instructions & follow it at the time of exam. Remember, it will be mandatory to carry admit card along with one ID proof at the exam hall.

ICAR AIEEA 2024 Answer Key

The answer key for ICAR AIEEA 2024 will be released via online mode. It will be released separately for both AIEEA UG/ CUET or AIEEA PG courses. First, authority will publish provisional answer key. After making objections in the given time period, final answer key will be published.

The answer key will be released by the exam conducting authority (NTA) only. With the help of answer key, one will be able to assume their marks even before result declaration. It will be publish in the form of pdf.

ICAR AIEEA 2024 Result

The ICAR AIEEA 2024 result will be made available separately for AIEEA UG & PG courses. It will be published in second week of April 2024 for UG & in second week of June 2024 for PG courses. Candidates will be able to download it through login credentials.

The result will be released in the form of subject-wise merit list. All candidates whose name will appear in the merit list will further have to participate in the counselling procedure.
