• Students will be able to register for IPU CET 2026 in month of March 2026 for various UG & PG courses.

For B.Tech:

• Age Limit: Applying candidates age must not be more than 21 years as on 1st August 2026.
• Qualification: Candidates must have passed their 12th grade examination from a recognised board.
• Subjects: One must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects along with English as core subject in the qualifying examination.
• Marks: Applicants should obtain an aggregate of 55% marks in their qualifying exam to apply.
• Admission Criteria: Candidates must have valid scores in JEE Main exam to apply for B.Tech course.

M.Tech: 

• Age Limit: Student’s age should not be beyond 35 years as on 1st August 2026 to apply.
• Qualification: Candidates must hold a B.Tech/ BE degree in a relevant field to be eligible to apply.
• Marks: Students must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the qualifying degree.
• Admission Criteria: Students must have qualified GATE, CET or CUET exam to be eligible.

IPU CET 2026 Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: IPU CET 2026 exam will be conducted via offline mode.
• Duration: Students will get a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes to solve the exam.
• Medium: Exam paper will be accessible in English language only.
• Total Marks: The question paper will carry 100 questions of a total 400 marks.
• Types of Questions: Exam paper will comprise of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) type questions.
• Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

IPU CET 2026 Admit Card

IPU CET Admit Card 2026 will be issued via online mode, a few days before the entrance exam. The university will release the admit cards for various UG/PG courses on different dates.

To download the admit card, students will need to enter their login credentials like CET Code, application number and birth date. Students are suggested to keep a printed copy of the admit card to be produced on the exam day.

IPU CET 2026 Result

IPU CET Result 2026 will be announced via online mode by the university, after a few days of entrance exam. The university will also prepare a merit list based on the marks obtained by candidates in the exam. 

All candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to access their results through login on the website. Candidates shortlisted in the IPU CET merit list 2026 will be called for participation in counselling rounds.
