Is old UPSC OTR valid or not?
As a new portal has been launched, candidates who will be applying or who had registered under the old OTR system previously are now required to re-register for the One Time Registration (OTR). The old UPSC OTR is not valid.
The official notice reads that “All applicants are required to fill up the application and upload their documents in the newly introduced portal afresh by using the website https://upsconline.nic.in. The old One Time Registration (OTR) module will not be applicable henceforth.”

There are four parts to the UPSC’s new online portal. They are arranged in 4 separate cards on the home page. These are Account Creation, Universal Registration, Common Application Form, and Examination.
The first three parts contain information that is common to all examinations and can be filled out at any time by the candidates, and part four contains examination notices, applications, and application status. Only examination-specific information is to be filled out in this part by candidates during the period allowed in the notification of an examination.
