IIT JAM Update: The Indian Institute of Bombay today has started the JAM 2026 application correction process. Other than online, there is no other mode to edit the form.
IIT JAM correction window is activated at jam2026.iitb.ac.in. To make edits JAM application form, candidates are required to log in with the help of credentials generated at the time of registration.
Eligible are those who have submitted the JAM application form on or before 20th October 2025 and have paid the application fees sucessfully.
How To Edit JAM Application Form
Below are the steps that need to be followed to avail the JAM form correction facility:
- Search the IIT JAM 2026 website (link to edit form given below)
- Click on jam2026.iitb.ac.in
- You will now enter the homepage.
- Look for the “JOAPS Portal” link.
- A candidate login window will appear.
- Enter your Enrollment ID / Email Address and password.
- Your JAM form will be displayed.
- Make the required changes and review the form.
- Once done, submit the edited form.
- For future use, keep a copy of the form submission page.

Through this edit facility, aspirants can not make changes to the complete application form, the authority only allows candidates to edit Examination Cities /Test Papers /Category /Gender.
The JAM correction form facility is a one-time opportunity, so candidates only have 06 days to avail this facility. IIT Bombay has activated the correction link on 10th November 2025, and the last day to edit the JAM form is 13th November 2025.
All the details that candidates mention in their JAM form will be used to create the admit card, result, and other documents. So make sure to enter all the details correctly, as mentioned in the official document.
IIT JAM 2026 examination will be held on 15th February 2026 in two sessions, Forenoon session from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and Afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
