Through this exam, candidates will get admission into various PG programs such as M.Sc., M.Tech. Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc, Ph.D, etc. Exam will be held in 100 cities across India every year. • Candidates will have to pay Rs. 300/- extra in case of changing cities/ test papers/ categories/ gender apart from the application fee.

IIT JAM 2026 Application Correction 

IIT JAM 2026 Application Correction facility will be provided through online mode. Candidates will be able to make corrections in the form during edit facility. It will be started from November 2025. 

To access the correction window, candidates will have to use their login credentials. Correction facility will be available for one to two weeks only, after that no extension will be made. 

IIT JAM 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria section below: 

• Nationality: Candidates must be Indian/ Foreign National to apply for IIT JAM 2026 exam. 
• Qualification: Graduated candidates in any discipline from a recognized college/ university will be eligible to apply. (It will depend upon the applying course.)
• Marks: There will be no specific marks criteria set by the university to apply. Candidates will be required to obtain marks as per their applying courses. 
• Physical Fitness: During admission procedure, candidates will be required to have a physical fitness certificate & must be physically fit also to apply. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in their final year of graduation will also be eligible to apply for IIT JAM 2026 exam.

• Click on the “JOAPS Application 2026” link on the webpage. 
• Enter the basic information such as valid email ID and mobile number first to register yourself. 
• Enrolment ID and OTP will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number after registration. 
• Now login using allotted credentials and start completing the application form. 
• Enter the details such as personal, communicational, academic information in the form. 
• Upload the required documents such as Photograph, signature and other documents in prescribed format. 
• To avoid rejection, documents must be uploaded in JPEG/ JPG format in a range between 20 KB to 200 KB only. 
• Submit the registration fee through any of the online payment method. 
• Recheck the details once before submitting the application form. 
• Press the “Submit” button and proceed. 
• A confirmation page will be displayed on the webpage. 
• Do not forget to take a hardcopy of the registration form for further processing.
