JEE Main 2026 Correction Date Out: Here’s What You Can Correct

NTA to provide two days JEE form correction window. Check dates and details below.

JEE Main Exam Update: The National Testing Agency has released a notice on 20th November 2025 regarding corrections to the particulars in application form for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2026 Session 1.

The authority has received numerous requests regarding the opportunity to edit/modify JEE Mains forms. In view of that, a correction facility is being given to candidates.

JEE Main 2026 registration is ongoing, and the last date to apply is 27th November 2025, till 09:00 P.M., and fees can be paid till 11:50 P.M.

Can i Edit JEE Main 2026 Form?

All the candidates who have applied for JEE Main 2026 session 1 or are applying will be provided form correction facility. The JEE application correction link will be activated at jeemain.nta.nic.in

NTA will open the JEE form correction window for two days from 01 December to 02 December 2025 (up to 11:50 P.M.). Making corrections in the JEE form is a one-time opportunity.

As per the JEE correction notice, candidates are not allowed to edit all the fields, only a list of a few fields will be editable, which are:

5Candidates shall be allowed to change all the fields:i. Date of Birth
ii. Gender
iii. Category
iv. Sub-category / PwD (if not verified by UDID Portal)
v. Signature
6Candidates shall be allowed to add the field:i. Paper
7Candidates shall be allowed to change identity details (only for candidates who registered with an identity other than Aadhaar)i. Aadhaar details

The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam will be held between 21st – 30th January 2026, and the JEE Main 2026 session 2 between 02nd – 09th April 2026. The mode of the exam is going to be a computer-based test.
