The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results and topper list.
The exam for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) was conducted on 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 28th January 2026 in two shifts, and Paper 2A for B.Arch, and 2B for B.Plan on 29th January 2026.
Candidates can now check their NTA JEE Scores for Session 1, including state-wise, category-wise, and gender-wise rankings, on the official websites—jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in.

Category-Wise JEE Main 2026 Toppers
NTA categorises toppers based on General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS categories. Out of the candidates who scored 100 percentile in JEE Main 2026 (Paper 1), 11 were from the General category. Additionally, there was one topper each from the Gen-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwBD categories.

How NTA Calculates JEE Main 2026 Scores
The normalization process calculates the NTA Score (percentile) to ensure fair ranking across multiple exam shifts. It assigns a 100th percentile score to the highest scorer in each shift and adjusts other candidates’ scores accordingly.
