JEXPO 2021JEXPO 2021 Seat Allotment (3rd Round) has been released on 16th October 2021.Examination has been organized to offer admission in various polytechnic courses i.e. engineering, pharmacy, architecture etc. JEXPO examination is conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. It is a state level polytechnic examination which is conducted every year. Through this exam candidates can get admission in various government and private colleges/ institute. JEXPO 2021 Application Form

Candidates can check details about JEXPO 2021 application form from below:

  • Application form has been released through online mode.
  • Candidates are able to fill their application form from 6th May 2021.
  • Registration process includes steps like filling of application form, document uploads, payment of application fee etc.
  • Upload documents i.e. colored passport size photograph in 4.5 x 3.5 cm size.
  • Candidates can submit their online application till 31st August 2021.
  • Offline application form can be submitted at designated polytechnic centres.

JEXPO Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through JEXPO eligibility criteria before applying for the exam:

  • Nationality: Candidates should be an Indian citizen.
  • Age Limit: Candidates should be born on or before 1st July 2006. There are no upper age limit criteria.
  • Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th standard or equivalent from any recognized board.
  • Marks: Candidates must have secure minimum of 35% marks in their qualifying exam.
  • Subjects: Candidates must pass their 10thclass with mathematics, physics and English subjects.
  • Appearing: Candidates those are appearing in their 10thclass will also be eligible to apply.

JEXPO 2021 Exam Pattern

Here we have provided details about JEXPO exam pattern:

  • Mode of Exam: Examination has been conducted through offline mode.
  • Language: Question paper is available in English and Bengali languages.
  • Type of Question: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination.
  • Total Questions: Total 100 questions will be asked in the examination.
  • Duration: Examination will be conducted in 2 hours duration.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct response one mark will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.

JEXPO 2021 Syllabus

JEXPO syllabus will be based on 10thstandard under west Bengal board of secondary education. Here candidates can check some important topics of the mathematics and physics subject:

Mathematics: Graphs, real numbers, law of indices, coordinate geometry- distance formula, linear simultaneous equations, profit and loss, statics, theorem on areas, polynomials, area and perimeters of triangles and quadrilateral shaped region, trigonometric ratios and trigonometric identities, theorem on concurrence, theorem related to circle, simple interest etc.

Physical Science: Atomic structure, mole concept, power and energy, sound, heat, force and motion, measurement, bases and salts, behavior of gases, chemical calculations, thermal phenomena, solution, periodic table and periodicity of properties of elements, organic chemistry and general awareness etc.

JEXPO 2021 Admit Card

Admit card is released through online mode on the website. Candidates can download their admit card from September 2021. Candidates are advised to bring JEXPO 2021 admit card in the exam hall with one photo ID proof.

Candidates can download their admit card using login credentials i.e. application number and password. Check all the details mentioned on admit card and take printout of it.

JEXPO 2021 Merit List/ Result

Authority will release JEXPO merit list in the October 2021. Candidates will be able to check their results through online mode. There will be no offline or other facility to check results.

Candidates must check details in rank card/ result carefully, in case of any mistake they can contact to the officials. Candidates whose name is present in the merit list will be called for the counselling. Take printout of the result and keep it secure for admission procedure.

JEXPO 2021 Counselling

JEXPO counselling has been started from 24th September 2021. Counselling is organized through online mode. In the counselling candidates must have to fill choice of colleges as per their preferences.

During the counselling process seat allotment and document verification will be done. After that candidates have to report at the allotted college/ institute with allotment letter and other required documents. Seat allotment has been released on 1st October 2021.

Seat allotment for 3rd round has been released on 18th October 2021. Candidates must bring their original documents for verification process. Seats will be cancelled to candidates if they will be failed to produce required documents.

Candidates will have to produce following documents for verification:

  • Class 10thmark sheet and certificate
  • JEXPO 2021 admit card
  • Category/ caste certificate
  • Domicile certificate
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Allotment letter
  • Passport size photographs etc.
