JIPMER PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Following is the JIPMER PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria which candidates must go through before filling the application form:

For INI CET (MD/ MS):

• Nationality: Candidates of Indian Nationals/ OCI/ NRI & foreign nationals will eligible to apply. Those candidates of Foreign who will be nominated by the Government will not require to appear for the exam.
• Qualification: Applying candidates must have MBBS degree recognised by MCI/ NMC. Applicants must have completed required period of 12 months rotating internship/ practical training on or before 31^st January 2024 (January session)/ 31^st July 2024 (July session).
• Passing Marks: A minimum 55% of marks will be required in case of general category and 50% for reserved category candidates to be eligible.
• Appearing: Those applicants who will be appearing in the qualifying exam in year 2024 will also be eligible to apply for AIIMS PG 2024.

For INI SS (DM/ M.Ch):

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have MD/ MS degree from any MCI approved board or university to apply.
• Age Criteria: To be eligible for the exam, candidates must not be more than 35 years in age as on 1^st January 2024 (Jan session)/ 1st July 2023 (July session). For SC/ ST category candidates, 5 year of age relaxation will be given and 3 years of age relaxation for OBC category candidates.

INI CET (MD/ MS):

• Mode of Exam: Through online (computer-based) mode, the exam will be conducted.
• Duration: 3 hours will be given to the candidates to solve the exam.
• Type of Questions: The Multiple- Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the exam.
• Medium: The exam will be available in English language only.
• Number of Questions: Total 200 questions will be there in the exam.
• Marking Scheme: For each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded.
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

JIPMER PG 2024 Syllabus

The syllabus of JIPMER PG 2024 for MD/ MS admission is based on the syllabus of INI CET. The questions in the syllabus will be based on the higher secondary level. It will cover the syllabus from the various subjects like Physics, Biology, Chemistry, GK & Aptitude test.

JIPMER PG 2024 Admit Card

The JIPMER PG admit card 2024 will be released on 22nd April 2024 for INI SS (July session exam) and on 13th May 2024 for INI CET. The candidates can download the admit card through online mode only. Those candidates who submitted the application form before the last date will be able to download it from the website.

Candidates will have to enter their login details like application form number and password in the online portal to download the admit card. It will be the most important document to carry on the day of examination. The authority will not allowed the candidates to sit in the examination hall without having a valid hardcopy of the JIPMER PG 2024 admit card.

JIPMER PG 2024 Result

The authority will publish the JIPMER PG result 2024 on 25th May 2024 for July session (INI CET) & in May 2024 for DM/ M.Ch (INI SS). The result will be declared through online mode on the website.

Appeared candidates in the JIPMER PG 2024 entrance examination through INI CET, INI SS will be able to access the result from the website. Candidates will be required to use their login details like application number and date of birth in the online portal. JIPMER PG 2024 Merit List

JIPMER PG 2024 Counselling

The qualified candidates in the entrance exam will be able to participate in the JIPMER PG counselling 2024 procedure. The counselling registration started 4th December 2023 (INI SS) & 28th November 2023 (INI CET) for January session & will begin from June 2024 for July session. Qualified candidates in the exam have to register online for the counselling process on the website.
