JNU 2023 UG Merit List -4 has been released on 25th August 2023. 2nd Merit list has been released for PG courses. Cut Off has been released for List-4. Admissions in the University are followed by CUET (Common University Entrance Test). CUET is conducted by National Testing Agency for admission into various UG courses as well as post-graduate courses in Jawaharlal Nehru University.

JNU 2023 Answer Key
The JNU 2023 Answer key has been released through online mode for various programmes. The answer key has been released for admission through CUET UG/PG. Candidates who have appeared in the exam can download the subject wise final answer key PDF.
NTA has released a provisional answer key before releasing the final answer key. If there are any changes in the answer key or any doubts, candidates can challenge the answer key. Final answer key has been released after the provisional answer key.
JNU Admission 2023 Result
After conducting the exam, authorities have declared the CUET UG/ PG result by online mode. Candidates can check their results by entering their registration details. JNU Admission 2023 result has been released on 15th July 2023 (UG) & 20th July 2023 (PG).
Based on the result, the authorities have released the merit list for admission to different courses. Those candidates who have their names in the merit list are invited to the counselling process.

JNU Admission 2023 Counselling
The JNU Counselling 2023 is conducted through offline mode. All those candidates who are shortlisted after the release of merit list are invited to participate in the counselling process. The counselling has been started for UG from 16th July 2023. For PG, it will begin soon.
During the counselling process, all the formalities of admission takes place. The university also verifies the documents of the candidates during the counselling process. The admission are confirmed only after the verification of documents and payment of admission fees.
Documents Required for Counselling
The following are the documents that candidates have to carry when reporting for document verification:
- Class 10th/ high school or its equivalent examination certificate
- Class 12th mark sheet/ grade sheet or equivalent qualifying
- 10 recent color photographs
- Graduation Degree/ Mark sheet
- Master’s Degree/ Mark sheet
- Migration/ transfer/ character certificate from the last attended institution
- SC/ ST/ OBC Category certificate, etc.
JNU Admission 2023 Admit Card
The JNU Admission 2023 admit card has been released for CUET UG/ PG through online mode. JNU admit card contain details such as candidate name, time, address, roll number, etc. To download the admit card candidate have to enter application number and password.
The authority does not send admit cards through post or any other offline method to the candidates. The candidate need to carry the admit card with them in examination hall as without it no candidate will be able to enter the hall.
JNU Admission 2023 Exam Pattern
Following is the complete JNU CUET Exam pattern 2023 for UG/ PG admissions:
For UG (CUET UG):
- Mode of exam: The exam will be conducted through CBT mode (Computer Based Test).
- Duration: The exam will be conducted on multiple days in three slots per day.
- Type of Questions: The question paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Number of questions: There are total of 100 questions in the paper.
- Medium: The medium of the paper will be English language.
- Marking scheme: 1 mark will be given for every correct answer and there will be no negative marking.
For PG (CUET PG):
- Exam Mode: The exam will be organized via online (computer based) mode.
- Time Duration: Candidates will be have to solve the paper within 2 hours.
- No. of Questions: Each question paper will consists of 100 questions.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
- Negative marking: For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted

JNU Admission 2023 Syllabus
The syllabus depends on the candidates to choose the course during filling the application form. For the UG Programmes JNU (CUET UG) syllabus is of 11th and 12th class. Candidates can read the 11th and 12th class book topics.
For PG admission through CUET PG, the syllabus for exam will be based on UG level subjects/ topics.
Basically, the syllabus for the particular course includes the topics from the qualifying examination of that course.
- MA in Economics: Microeconomics, Descriptive Statistics, Problem of Economic History, Under development and growth.
- MCA: General aptitude, reasoning, mathematics and Computer Science.
- M.Tech in Statistical Computing: General aptitude, reasoning and Bachelor/ Master level mathematics, statistics and computer science, data science.

JNU Admission 2023 Eligibility

For B.A. (Hons) 1st year:
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed their 12th level or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
- Age Limit: The minimum age limit should be 17 years as on 1st October 2023. There is no age limit for any other program.
- Percentage: Candidates must have scored at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in their final examination 2023 are also eligible to apply for JNU.
For MCA:
- Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in BCA or its equivalent.
- Subject: Candidates must have Mathematics as their mandatory subject to be eligible.
- Percentage: Candidates must have scored at least 55% marks in the qualifying exam.
For MA Program:
- Qualification: Applying candidates must be Bachelors’ degree holders in any stream.
- Percentage: Candidates must obtain minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam to be eligible for admission.
For M.Tech. (Statistical Computing):
- Qualification: Candidates must have Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in the required stream to be eligible for admission.
- Subject: Candidates must have a master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, operational research, or in any other science branch.
