Karnataka KMAT 2019 Result has been released on 20th August 2019. Karnataka Management Aptitude Testis a state level management entrance test. It is conducted to screen the candidates for admission to AICTE approved MBA, PGDM and MCA programmes in Bangalore and Karnataka state institutions. The KMAT exam is conducted once in a year by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). Karnataka KMAT 2019 Result

The candidates can get their Karnataka KMAT 2019 result through online mode only. It cannot be sent to the candidate’s registered postal address.

The candidates can view their results by entering the application number and date of birth. In the Karnataka KMAT 2019 result, the net scores with percentile score will be mentioned.

Karnataka KMAT Admission

Any Post Graduate Institution within the state, consider the KMAT score to offer admission on the basis of the score cards issued to the candidates. KMAT scores will be sent to both Management Institutions and to the candidates.

There is no centralized counselling will be conducted to offer admission. Each institution conducts their separate counselling oat their campuses. Candidates have to apply separately for the institutions in which they are seeking for admission.

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks scored in the Karnataka KMAT 2019 exam. The particular institution will invite the candidates for admission on the basis of marks obtained and conduct the GD and PI rounds for final admission. The final admission will be given after the verification of original documents.

Karnataka KMAT Admit Card 2019

All registered candidates can download their admit card through online mode. No other mode is made available in this regard. KMAT admit card 2019 has been issued on 1st August 2019.

Candidate are advised that do not forget to paste his/her passport size photograph same as uploaded on the registration form in the space provided on the admit card. Candidates have to bring the Karnataka KMAT admit card 2019 duly completed with photograph and a valid photo ID proof.

In case a filled test centre will be cancelled, the candidate will be intimated on his/her registered mail id about the allotment of other test centre. Candidates should also keep the admit card till counselling.

Karnataka KMAT 2020

KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test) is a state level examination conducted by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association. This state level entrance test will be held once in a year to provide admission to the candidates into MBA, PGDMA and MCA courses The examination will be conducted in the month of July 2020.

Karnataka KMAT Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: The examination will be conducted through offline (pen paper) mode.
  • No. of Questions: The total of 120 questions will be asked in the exam.
  • Types of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the exam.
  • Sections: The question paper will be comprised of 3 sections, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning.
  • Duration of Exam: 120 minutes will be allotted for whole exam.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct response 1 mark will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking in the examination.

Karnataka KMAT Syllabus

The Karnataka KMAT syllabus will be comprised of the syllabus which is given below:

Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension

Grammar, Vocabulary, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms, Comprehension of Passages , Passages and Choice of Appropriate Words, Phrases, Expressions and Similar Language skills.

Logical Reasoning

This section may have questions in sets as well individual ones based on Verbal Reasoning, Analogy among others.

Quantitative Ability

Numbers, Numerical Calculations, Arithmetic problems involving Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Interest, Time & Speed, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Parts of Mathematics, Quantitative Reasoning, Interpretation of Tables, Common Graphs & Charts.

  • Candidates should analyze their complete syllabus thoroughly.
  • Management of time is very important so, manage the time according to difficulty level of particular topic.
  • Must go through the previous years questions papers and their solution.
  • Revision is very necessary in student’s life. So, keep revising the learned topic on a daily basis.

Karnataka KMAT 2019 Application Form

  • The Karnataka KMAT 2019 application form can be filled through online mode.
  • The application form has been started from 25th May 2019 and continued to till 25th July 2019.
  • Candidates have to register themselves on the website first. After registration, candidates can fill their personal and qualification details in the application form.
  • On successful submission of the application form, the candidate will get a confirmation of candidate summary sheet along with the payment details.
  • The application will be considered completed only after the submission of application fee.

Application Fee:

  • The candidates can make payment of application fee through online mode (credit card/debit card/internet banking).
  • The fee for the application form is Rs. 826 (including GST).
  • The application fee is non-refundable unless, the candidate has paid the fee twice for same course.

Eligibility Criteria

Here, candidates can check the eligibility criteria for admission in MBA/PGDM and MCA courses in the state of Karnataka and Bangalore.


  • Qualifying Exam: The candidate should have minimum of 3 years of Bachelor’s degree/Master degree in any stream from a recognized university.
  • Minimum Marks: The candidates should have obtained 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Appearing Candidates: Final year of Bachelor’s degree can also apply.

For MCA:

  • Qualifying Exam: The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
  • Minimum Marks: The candidates should have obtained 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates).
