CAT 2026 Application Form

- CAT 2026 Registration will begin in the 1st week of August 2026 on the website.
- Applying candidates can fill out the application form via online mode. Offline window is not provided.
- It is suggested to all the applying aspirants to fulfil the eligibility criteria first before fill the form.
- Authority also provides the facility to edit the submitted details during correction window in September 2026.
- Whiling filling the form, candidates must provide the valid information, as the authority will communicate to the registered number/ Email ID.
- It will be mandatory to upload the passport size photograph & signature in the prescribed format for verification.
- As per the preferences, aspirants have to select 6 exam cities in registration form.
- Before submitting the form, candidates must go through the complete details once, as wrong details may lead to the rejection.
- Keep a hardcopy of submitted application form, as it will be used in the further procedure of admission.

Application Fee:
- Online facility is available to submit CAT 2026 application fee.
- Rs. 2600/- is the application fee for General/ EWS/ NC-OBC category.
- Rs. 1300/- is the application fee for SC/ ST PwD category candidates.
- Online methods such as credit card, debit card, or net banking is available.
- Under any circumstance, the application fee is non-refundable.
CAT 2026 Application Correction
Application correction facility in CAT 2026 will be provided in the first week of October 2026. Candidates who will make mistakes while filling the form, can edit their details during edit window. Correction window will be open for few days only. Applying candidates have to visit the website to edit the details. Login details will be required to make correction in the form.
After registration, changes in category will not be possible under any circumstance. In the fields of email ID, state, mobile number, date of birth, rectification will not be permitted. The option to edit the mistakes in images will be released first & then final edit will be enabled.
CAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Following are the complete eligibility criteria of CAT 2026 exam:
- Qualification: To be eligible, candidates must have Bachelor’s degree from any university or Institution recognised by authority. (OR)
- Aspirants with a professional degree (CA/ ICWA/ CS) will also be eligible to apply.
- Age Limit: No age limit is prescribed to apply for CAT 2026 exam.
- Marks: To apply, one should have minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. 45% marks are required for SC/ ST/ PwD category. However, the calculation of marks followed calculated as per the procedure followed by respective university/ institutions.
- Attempt Limit: There is no attempt limit for CAT 2026 exam.
- Appearing: Those appearing candidates in the final year of degree will also be eligible to apply.

- Press the “New Candidates Registration” button to create a profile.
- To register, enter the basic details such as name, qualification, DOB, etc.
